  only a few days ago i was walking around the house in a mindless wander thinking if i needed to seek professional help.

  then i got the courage to seek the comfort of complete strangers on the internet and found a world of support here on this website.

  Fading is never 100% successful is it?

  mum phoned last night to see how we all are.

  after fifteen years away from meetings and my old jw life you'd think my fade could be called 'successful' and for the most part it is.

  .. my resentment at being lied to and having wasted over thirty years of my life has left me like a glass of water full to the brim, it only takes a tap to make a mess.

  Sorry to hear about this nic,

  My parents were never JWs and I had someone to run to when I was Df'd, my daughter faded too and my son is out too.

  It sounds like even though I have been out two years I am more out than you due to my circumstances.

  I am so sorry this cult has put such a terrible strain on your relationship with your mum, and you still feel there are things left unsaid. It's so frustrating for me as I want to stop you feeling so restricted.

  What is appalling about removing foreskin?

  Many people say the penis is cleaner and less susceptible to infection without foreskin.

  How do you know about sexual stimulation? There isn't any research that can be done to compare this.

  I had my son circumcised also. No big deal. I don't think it's as abusive as being in a cult and being shunned.

  Actively Fading and The Memorial

  I am not a fader. I wish I was but I spoke my mind to quickly. Last year I was encouraged to go to the memorial.

  As I am df'd it's just another opportunity to be ignored and shunned......I would rather talk to JWs at the trolley than go to a memorial.

  My daughter is a fader and stopped going two years ago and never attended a memorial.

  The actual anatomy has no bearing on the priority in a relationship. If a man is generous, considerate, has a sense of humour and intelligent. It doesn't matter to me if he does or doesn't have foreskin.

  But I disagree, your ridiculous claim is that I was indoctrinated to believe in God, but my parents are both agnostic and atheist. So your claim is not supported by the evidence.
