  ..... with my 7-year-old son!

  last night, while i was still brushing my teeth, he crawled into my bed and laid his head on my pillow.

  i jokingly told him that he wasn't supposed to be on my side of the bed and that he had to move.

  Everytime my son snuggles up with me, I wonder how much longer he will allow me to do so! It is so heartening to hear that your 11-year-old will still do it! (Whew! I'm not ready to give it up, yet!) Apparently, however, it appears your son prefers to cuddle with the smart parent....! (Sorry, xjw - I just had to say that!)

I jokingly told him that he wasn't supposed to be on my side of the bed and that he had to move. He told me, "but I need to lay here, Mommy!". After I asked him why, he replied, "I need to be on your pillow so I can be your teddy bear!"

  Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.... he never ceases to say things that endear himself even further to me!

  Does anyone else have any stories of cute and/or endearing things their children/nieces/nephews/grandchildren etc have said or done that make your heart go, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh..." ?

  That is exactly what I did, only there was no room called "Jehovah's United Nations" room that I could see. There was JW room, and an "End Time Prophesy" room, and another room which I can't recall - there is no way to post a link?!

  I am so sorry for the losses. I feel the pain and understand the fear Spaniards must be feeling right now. 9/11 changed my life, and I expect it will change the lives of many in Spain as well. My heart goes out to your nation.

  I'd have to say my other natural talent is for landscaping and growing plants. My home looks like a jungle with huge and flourishing houseplants snaking all over!

  Mine was more of the dumbest thing someone ever asked me. While driving in the car with me when I was 24 years old, my JW Mom asked me very seriously, "I've been trying to figure out why you're not married yet. What is wrong with you?"

  Hmmmmmmmm..... could it be that I had a brain in my head which clearly realized that marriages between mere children - which JW's promote - are generally dysfunctional and usually don't last?! Whose got the skewed thinking here

  i love getting flowers at work!

  i got some today from a friend for my birthday..nothing really fancy...but it's just so cool when they come in with flowers and you wonder who they are for....and they are for you!.
