  Mom Says She Probably Won't Go To Daughter's Wedding If Off Pioneer List

  my mother told me the other day that if push came to shove, she probably wouldn't go to my daughter's wedding if she knew she would be removed as a regular pioneer.

  she said that pioneering was something she chose to do over the last 40 plus years.

  if my daughter chose to marry an "unbeliever", then that was her decision.......obviously, some things are more important.

  I'm sorry, Min. This must be very sad news to your family - and especially your daughter. Weddings are supposed to be happy occasions. I am sorry that this one will be boycotted for a very stupid reason. I have to say that I agree with Little Witch - turning the tables is a great way of putting it in perspective to your mother. And providing her with a video is a nice way of including her, even if she is snubbing you. It shows who is taking the higher road.

  Despite this, I hope it is a happy day for your entire family and especially for your daughter.

  so, in honor of this "never heard of before" commemoration, i just wanted to wish all my girlfriends on the board (and the guys whom i love like a girlfriend!!!

  And remember:

  It is good to be a woman because: 1. We got off the Titanic first.
  2. We can scare male bosses with the mysterious gynecological disorder excuses.
  3. Taxis stop for us.
  4. We don't look like a frog in a blender when dancing.
  5. No fashion faux pas we make, could ever rival the Speedo.
  6. We don't have to pass gas to amuse ourselves.
  7. If we forget to shave, no one has to know.

  9. We never have to reach down every so often to make sure our privates are still there.
  10. We have the ability to dress ourselves.

  14. There are times when chocolate really can solve all your problems.
  15. We can make comments about how silly men are in their presence because they aren't listening anyway.

  What is wrong with these women, why are they trying to kill me with sex?

  i have had a rough couple of weeks with these kidney stones.

  i would have liked to take a few days off to recover but i have contracts to complete before i fly off to frenchbabyface land.. this last monday i was hurting pretty bad but managed to suffer though a day of site prep for a big tile job.

  i came home about 3 pm and cleaned up and went to bed.
