i've been wondering how to approach my family w/ my true feelings re: the jw's.
conveniently, my mother gave me an opening last night and i went for it.
i spent nearly four hours 'getting through' to her and was blown away, b/c she actually agreed w/ me.

i saw that today the supreme court threw out the case with the atheist father arguing that the under god phrase in the pledge of allegiance was unconstitutional.
i guess the case was thrown out on a technicality because the daughter does not live with her father but with her christian mother thus making the father's case invalid.
i knew about this case but i did not realize that is was dubbie prez.

And for what it is worth, I've had a post deleted for something that was not half the attack on someone else's personal beliefs than this one is to mine. You're damn lucky I don't complain.

In fact, just to make sure he understood, we had a talk about ALL bodily orifices! He laughed out loud when I mentioned "unmentionables"! I think he got the message!!! (At least he better have!)
