According to the rules of the WTS they must now be disfellowshipped because they spent the night together under improper circumstances.

Learning The Language.
by Englishman ina few moments ago, in the chat room, reference was made to a tv series called "mi 5".
now simon, little toe and myself had never heard of it, even though it's a brit programme.
reason is, because in the uk, it's simply called "spooks".. it was immediately pointed out to us that this is a derogatory term in the us, although over here it simply means "ghosts".. so, ladeez and gentlemen, .

Did the Watchtower Society Construction Crews in Brooklyn Bury Some Bodies?
by Gamaliel inwell this isn't exactly what you might think, but i have the following information based on what i consider good authority.
still, it's without a shred of hard evidence.
i am bringing it up now before the watchtower society tries to sell off the particular building in question.

Don't know about your math Elsewhere, sounds uh uh uh... it's been too long since my college days, but Ol Max Larson later said that it was the rollers that expanded due to temp changes after running for a time, thus the register changes made the product unacceptable for dub publications. Don't know if this is true or not. Given the mass of the roller it's hard to believe that it would heat up enough to expand.
I do know that that million dollar press never printed the first book that actually made it into circulation. The press was orginally designed to print comic books and low budget type publications. Not intended for high quality operation. I always said they should cut it into little pieces and encase them in plastic, then sell them as momentos of Bethel. Bet they would have gotten that money back in a heartbeat.

old technology and internet
by lurk inhow did the org cope with the invention of tv radio and film magazines/the printing press and photography.. was watching a prog on early movies ..at the seaside there were movies machines with films like "what the butler saw" servanats and mistresses making whoopee in the larder.
not like today but must have been pretty daring in the old days and rude for the old days.
this was really really old brown and flickering film.so something objectionable to the early congregations?

Bro gives talk by laptop...lol
by caspian indespite my hangover, i reluctantly went to the meeting yesterday (the gaps are getting bigger each week).
i know that my eyes were a bit out of focus, but this is true, the young elder (age 27ish) gave the talk from his laptop.
his audience contact was crap as his eyes kept scrolling down the screen, mind you it was the worst talk i had heard for years, one of those 30 scriptures in 45 minutes events what we used to call read and run with no explanation.. .

Did You Feel Obliged To Do Business With The "Brothers"or Did You Not Care?
by minimus injw's are always in some business venture of one sort or another.
i knew of some in the congregation that didn't do business with brothers and sisters because they'd gotten burnt too many times.
i knew of others that felt obliged to buy something from fellow witnesses, especially elders.
