In recent times his singing reappeared in the ill received, and poorly produced CD, “Singing Kingdom Songs”. In concept this CD was to have been a nice representation of some of the better Kingdom songs. Karl Klein and his lackey Joe Spinelli pushed through the final and awful rendition that was finally released.

it's not every day you get something for free but a 'kindly' credit card company rang to offer a 0% deal on balance transfers or cash advances with a 2% fee capped at 50. hmmmnn .... i figure a 15,000 loan for 50 ain't bad and will earn a several hundred quid if i just stick it in a high-interest account (and pay it right back before the 0% period is up).

There is no free lunch. Just beware of using that card for anything else. Most cards offering this program will allow interest charges on any purchases made using the card to accrue until the entire loan balance is paid.

Otherwise it's a good deal.

Rob Pollock - Sent to Engineering College by WTS?

He's not the only one to benefit by having schooling paid for from the donations of the lowly publisher class.

At least two Bethelites have been sent to law school. Just heard that some have or were being sent for EMT training.

Of course this higher education is for a purpose that has been given the imprimatur of the GB so all you slovenly, slotful sheep should overlook this.

New Governing Body members

i was curious if anyone has any thoughts on why the two new members of the gb haven't beeen announced on the society's web site?

they were appointed on august 25 according to what i have read here, but no one in my congregation has said anyhting about it.

i know it is still a little early for it to be in the watchtower, but don't they usually post this kind of news at jw media?.

They are not likely to give credence to the internet by making such an anonuncement there before it's written in the Watchtower, the only channel dubs are to trust.

Should I go to the Docs?

ok, earlier i was sitting here on the pc, when my mum comes in and says it looks like i've got a lump behind my ear, i go and have a look, and she's right, there's a lump one side, but not behind my other ear, so i'm pretty sure it's not part of my skull.

now i didn't notice this before.

but after i was told about it, i swear it's starting to hurt... is it worth getting checked out by the doc, or is it one of those things you can leave and it'll go away?

Could be a sebaceous cyst as these are quite common. It's always a good idea to have any anamolies checked by your physician.

Whats the worst dish you ever served???

i am a reasonable cook when i can be bothered (as paulj will hopefully confirm) but often resort to quick and easy methods, packet mixes, tins etc.. whereas my parner is a brilliant cook!!

leave him in the kitchen for a little while and he produces something from scratch that is delicious.

so today i decided to extend my culinary skills!

Is The Watchtower Dumping Statistics?

the society failed to publish the us.

Numbers are extremely important to them. Since the Service Dept. (Bethel CIA) actually is running most things like this, don't expect them to change reporting and the numbers game to any great degree. That would be giving up too much control.

An experiment is underway right now to test reporting (by congregations, not individuals) of field service time via the internet. To what extent this will evolve we haven't heard yet.
