What do Muslims Really Think - UK Documentary
by cofty inchannel 4 have commissioned a study into attitudes among british muslims.. the documentary starts in an hour from now at 10pm.
if you watch it live or on 4od please share your thoughts.. unlike many other surveys of muslim opinion, which have predominantly been done by phone or online, icm used face-to-face, in-home research to question a representative sample of 1,000 muslims across great britain.
icm also used a “control sample” to compare what british muslims thought with the rest of the british population.. at the top-line level, the survey suggests that a mainstream british muslim majority have similar values and attitudes to the wider british public on issues such as support for british institutions and a feeling of belonging to britain.. but looking deeper into the results, a chasm develops between those muslims surveyed and the wider population on attitudes to liberal values on issues such as gender equality, homosexuality and issues relating to freedom of expression.

I think that in the pursuit of truth and freedom, there is a tone of challenge to this OP that I neither understand nor appreciate.
This is a person of faith, who has a website, that would like to write truthful articles about the JWS. Is it SO IMPORTANT to attack G-d delusions? Can you not see the bigger picture? A person who is needy, and seeking 'something', and studying with the JWS ... might read the OP's site. MIGHT get turned off from the JWS, and may NOT join the cult. I think that Van, you may agree.

Salutaris Greetings! We have some folk of the RCC faith on the board. I would suggest 'bumping' the topic later in the day, as it is an international forum, so time zones play into account. If your thread has not been commented on for a while, you can just post "BTT" (back to the top) as a comment, and the thread will be brought forward.
Welcome to the forum, by the way. : ) I am not a believer myself.
It's great that you are seeking to put truthful argument on your site, which is the opposite of the JWS. I haven't read the articles yet, but will. Through the years, I've had many RCC friends (my room mate is technically RCC, but because of his own experience with priest abuse, he hates the Church - you can understand that), and I may be able to give you constructive comments.
Later! And I suggest you use the Search engine (located at the top of your screen) to locate older threads on the topic. It's great to see people of other faiths learning the real truth about the Jehovah's Witness organization. i learned early on that 'new light' doesn't come from stifled children and there was no suggestion box at my house.. when i was 6 my parents divorced and my mom quickly remarried and we moved from portland to the oregon coast.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I remember Onacruse, Craig, very well. He was a brilliant and funny person whose pain ran deep. The Watchtower really did a number on him, and his passing was very sad. Many people loved him a great deal.
You are doing exactly the thing you need to do, and I feel, honouring his memory by becoming free yourself, and taking steps to heal. Keep on a healthy path, and don't bury your pain inside.
My two uncles, who passed in recent years, were some of my greatest cheerleaders, and influences in my life. Hold those memories of "The Uncle Monster" in your heart, and know that Uncle Craig would be happy that you are finding your own way. xx tal

Yes, they are that cruel. Just think of what you already know. They failed to report a statutory rape (at the very least, if not child sexual abuse and rape!). Shunning and banishment is very possible.
And this, is a criminal offense in Canada (not reporting):
(apparently force himself on an underage girl but oddly the police were never involved)
Other jurisdictions differ, but the JWS receives NO clerical protection under the law. They *must* report, like any other citizen (repeat, in Canada).
