  Men: Honest answers, please, to an honest question

  from another thread:where else does the media so vividly show females as equal .

  when i read this, i had to wonder: is there something wrong with doing so?

  "I know women.... I married a 'women' ".... My wife is beautiful, sensual, and a loving mother. . . HOWEVER she is a corporate business woman person. She deals daily with a very stressfull, intensive job. I respect her as a woman... when we are out in one car, I open the door for her always. NOT because she is not capable... but because I love her.

  MY opinion... women are to be respected as equals.... but I would not marry one if I thought women were the SAME.... If I wanted a quarter-back for a wife, I would have married Joe Montanna.

  I am physically stronger than my wife... in that sense, we are NOT equal.

  I could not put a 7.9 pound human being through any orafice in my body... in that sense, we are NOT equal.

  But I believe some women can hold any position they choose.... just as some men can do so. NOT all MEN are equal either.

  And this is the problem with politically correct statements and the American Constitution...

  ALL MEN WERE NOT CREATED EQUAL.... I AM SORRY... IT DOES NOT SOUND P.C..... BUT IT IS TRUE.

  What's Fair About This??

  i've asked my husband about this many times, and he always manages to skirt the issue.

  here is the point i try to get across to him: .

  first of all, you have to agree that god is fundamentally fair (he agrees with me on this point.

  You said it in the first sentence.... They are trained to "skirt the issue". I am having the same friendly type debate with my father on what is said on the internet, and on the facts that people present, like documentation of their financial involvement. I can hear it in his voice... he just stutters.... "wel...well... uh.. you se.... you see.... that is just questioning God's plans. You need to have faith"

  If you are looking for a logical explanation... you won't find it. They are not permitted to ask these type questions, and all that do are accused of "planting doubt".

  Where is the evidence

  many of you make claim that god does not exist, you say that you found your evidence in the bible, what i want to know is where is the evidence.

  I apologize if I have offended.....but your rephrase make me look a little deeper. I dont think I "lost faith", I think I re-examined my own spirituality. Tore it all back down, and was scared to take anyone else's word for it. I now rely only on what I feel. That there is something greater, but perhaps not in the sense that religion teaches. The desire? instinct? to look to something higher. Perhaps a fear that we... simply end? Is it this, that makes humanity look for the dweller (whether it exists or not)?

  I dont know honestly. And perhaps I am only writing this for myself. I like to think of ourselves as something that will continue in another form.... God? THAT is the question man has sought the answer to since.......the beginning.

  Interesting Question KGB.... May I ask what YOU believe? and then may I ask (at the risk of sounding confrontational but not my intention). How does what one believes about "the dweller" in whatever form it may exist.... fit in with what another believes? I ask because I have observed.... that throughout history, the conflict is never about the actual "god figure".... but about making a group(s) all believe the same thing. Wars, "holocaust", deaths by millions... all because of a difference of belief in that which is called GOD.

  If you are Jewish, you must worship and believe this way.

  If you are christian... same

  muslim...same.......or insert any denomination.

  I just notice that whenever someone asks a question of this nature, they... and those who answer it... seem to "wish"(hope) that someone else believes the same, sort of a way of confirming or something. I myself have a hard time articulating what I believe as far as a deity or supreme being is concerned. I seem to feel a connection to an infinite being.... but wonder if it may just be "the higher part of my own concience"???? There is certainly no factual evidence. Even "science" is a system of geussing. Anyone?

  reading long posts.. but just cannot get enough of our dear friends stories.... here is a cool suggestion.

  just copy and paste the post into the readplease program... it will read the text to you in a variety of voices, and accents.

  it really helps me.

  If any of you are like me... distracted... scatterbrain... useless.... A.D.D. (maybe) as a result of your troubles and have a hard time focusing when you are reading long posts.. but just cannot get enough of our dear friends stories.... here is a cool suggestion.   I cant get enough... I listen to all your heart warming stories as I paint, or work on projects. Thank you so much for sharing them with me (us).

  It does not use a lot of space... and is free. I have had it for years (the old version) and never had problems. The kiddies will love it too. or the VISION IMPAIRED

  Create an apostate logo...

  ok all you computer geeks um, geniuses.

  next weekend, steve and i along with another apostate from arizona, will be riding our bikes in a two day, two hundred mile ride from seattle to portland, oregon.

  i thought it would be kind of fun to have an apostate logo we could print on sticker paper and attach to our helmets and/or rider numbers to bug any dubbies who may be riding too.

  I forgot to mention something, and I only bring it up because I hate dealing with it. (so far what you see up there is in the perfect format) but the ones I sent you in the e-mail(the tshirt and bus.card) were originally HAND DRAWN pencil drawings that went through several stages back and forth on my pc. The problem the printer is going to have with an original thing like what I sent, is the formatting... after it is hand drawn and you are all happy with it, and it goes into the programs... it is very difficult for the printer to get that into a correct format.

  That is why I ask about Corel Draw... it is a complicated program and frustrating sometimes, but it can help change the format. There are tons of programs out there... printshop is perhaps the most simple to use. and wh has a really neat little logo designer... but try the printshop in your spare time, you would be amazed at the things you can do with it... my twelve year old does some pretty neat tricks with it.

  I know I know... way too much info.... just thought I would let you know that the printer IS going to have issues with the formatting. Gee I coulda just said that.

  well i did it and everyone was happy.. yesterday i happened to be in the hair care aisle of kroger buying some shampoo.

  and happened to see *something else* on the shelf that sparked an idea.. care to guess what?.

  Got your e Princess... never worry about that you are the client you make the choice.. I compete with others for a living on this thing.

  I sent you a sample of what I mean by "one color graphic"...(it is un-related) but you can see the difference... a one color graphic and logo, can be seen more easily from a distance (or a moving bi-cycle) and make the statement quickly. Too many colors are going to "blurr" out at a distance, or in motion... also the printer will not charge so much, (however some have package deals on up to three colors... but I think you are not looking for that anyway... one color on everything)

  however (again) look back up at the Apostate logo above... a splash of red draws the eye to it. If you like something else you have seen and need to translate that to a one color graphic, this is very simple.

  156/106 and my meds weren't helping to lower it.

  can you get over depression without meds?
