  on national public radio, there's a weekly hour-long program called "car talk with click and clack the tappet brothers".

  it's been around for twenty years and is one of the most popular programs on npr.

  it's website is http://cartalk.com (there's a podcast, too) and one of the features of the site (and program) is a puzzler where the audience is challenged with a (usually) automotive related conundrum.

  one time a girl called in because her husband parks behind her in the driveway and his car was a stick shift......... she cant drive a stick shift and he wont park in front of her so what is she to do..............

  david splane will be giving the dedication talk for the new st-georges kingdom hall.

  my parents were going to go but that got sidelined by a funeral happening at the same time.

  my parents used to pioneer there with brother splane before he received the "heavenly calling" (i wonder if you can buy one of those in the hunting section at wal-mart, next to the duck calls?

  best time at the hall............. when some new people came and they had like 6 kids......... who got down out of their seats and started coloring on the floor.............. and i do mean ON THE FLOOR.......... crayola on carpet hehehehehhe

  fortunately for them the highest calling in that organization is......... CARPET CLEANER.. so it prolly came out but i still laughed my arse off

  Sometimes it is very hard to get companies like AOL, exercise gyms, etc to stop making the withdrawals once you have given them authorization.

  thats why i only give them atm/debit card numbers................ if they piss me off i can report the card lost and get a new one........... WITH A DIFFERENT NUMBER

  HATE at&t........... hated them before and now that they took over cingular....... hate em even more. had a 2 year agreement with cingular....... about a year or less to go.......... at&t took over...... couple days late on payment phone cut off. the year previous i had been as much as a month late once or twice...... no interuption in service....... as soon as At&t took it back......... cut off.... called them to say WTF rude bastards so i was like..... guess i dont need the phone that bad.... waited a month or so and called to work things out and finish out my contract........ even more rude......... hello metro pcs

  worst bank ive seen is freaking wacovia they make boa look like boyscouts.

  worst bank ive seen for longest wait times is definately colonial.... i used to work for a company that used them so if i wanted to cash my check i would go into the bank.......... and i found that generally not more than 2 or 4 people in there except during rush hours............. but even with no one in front of me and all the girls looking like they takeing a coffee break............... it still took them at a minimum 30 minutes to cash my damn check written on their accounts. i was like...... ok is the money there or not........ if it is then give me my damn money.... if its not then let me know so i can jump someones ass............. oh sir the money is there but we have to check to make sure this person is an authrrizzzzzzzed signer of checks.......... WTF....... then after my 30 to 45 minute ordeal................. would you like to deposit that in your colonial account.............. oh YEAH i got another DAMN HALF AN HOUR TO WASTE......... no thx honey.......... i LIKE CASH

  so, i swore to myself after leaving the dubs and getting df'd earlier this year that i would never enter a church again, except for weddings, etc.

  well, for the longest time, i've had some musician buddies of mine that attend a local church, and they have a musical service.

  i met one of the pastors a long time ago, and he and i became friends, just a very down to earth type guy.

  When Elders go too Far...

  this is just something that really peed me off regarding the elders, is how low they are sinking to get gossip and stuff now, i was in contact with a well trusted friend of mine who used to attend meetings up until 2 years ago, his wife is still in the jw org, he was having a joke around on some text messages with me regarding my man saying "try before you buy" and so on, which i found amusing....lets just say his wife didnt...she snooped on his phone, wrote out the texts he had sent me and gave the transcript to the elders, and now he has to go before a judicial commitee.

  how wrong is that, for a start its an invasion of privacy!

  i was fuming yesterday when i found out.

  Witnesses are trained from the time they can talk, that if you know of someone in the congregation who has committed a sin (like breaking one of the hundreds of manmade rules the GB has forced upon the rank and file), then you either convince them to confess to the gestapo elders, or it's your God-given duty to squeal on them

  exactly............ they either spy themselves directly, or they spy by proxy by asking someone to do their dirtywork for them. even if you had a body of "Good" elders who truely care for everyone(and they do exist just are rare and have their hands tied most times) the gov bod have conditioned all the rank and file to automaticly spy and run to the front of the class pointing their fingers.

  to put that into perspective........ i just FInally found my church home in georgia, but in searching i had to attend many different ones looking for one that fit me and my wife and one in which we could grow. last week we went to a church.......... the pastor got up in front of the congregation and was speaking about people who needed prayer. he said that brother TIM has been having problems dealing with his issues again and that they had been talking about them and he would like to be remembered in the congregations prayers.

  now this pastor didnt reveal what tims problems were....... nor did he bash him or say anything negative..... just asked for prayers and suppport.

  THATS what should happen.......... THATS what jesus would do...... Thats why jws are NOT christian,,,, just one reason among many.

  oh but lets not forget the conditioned response " but theirs nothing else outside the org" Yeah right

  Subconjuctival bleeding

  i have this happen to my eye almost monthly and i was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this?

  i have read that docs usually don't treat it unless it's secondary to hypertension.

  my bp is very normal i am am not taking any anticoagulants.
