  when i was younger i used to have terrible convulsions and hear "voices".

  my mom was convinced that it must be "the demons".

  the congregation prayed over me and eventually i went to a doctor that was able to figure out why i was so sickly and presto: everyone's prayers were answered..

  finally ran into some jw's after 10 months of being disfellowship.

  it took me by shock and storm.

  i wasnt expecting to see any that day..since i went to a wal-mart way outside my area..but dang there they were a brother with his wife i use to play basketball with!

  god dosent ask his people to shun ........... his people. and he dosent ask you to put up with their crap...........

  i know its not time for you to have boldness and to screw with them directly......... but next time............ go to the marital planning section and get some magnum condoms then go to the fruit section and get the biggest phalic shaped fruits or veggies you can find and walk right up to them and drop the items into their cart.... and smile like the fox in the hen house and walk away.

  how many of you were required to give up a certain career you had in order to become a jw or before you could be baptised?.

  help here in naming all the job positions and careers that dubs are not allowed to have and the scriptural reason for it.

  detail if possible.. can a jw be a mortician?.

  blow up doll, streetwalker (not to be confused with street witnesseing), porn editor, sex shop employee, cant be in quality control if working for a sex toy manufacturer (got family who works for one...... i asked her if her job classification was TEST PILOT.... she refused to answer , they will even put restrictions on your normal approved cleaning businesses............. cant be for knights of columbus, or a church, or clean carpets at the strip club................ nvm,

  there would never be a good time to have this conversation.

  quite different from most people raised a witness, i have very few horror stories about my upbringing.

  my family was just a family, my mom and dad fought and argued, my siblings and i misbehaved and got in trouble.. .

  wow...... that was handled in the very best way possible. i tried to just fade and when they asked the questions i evaded untill it was a direct question. then i told them how the cow eats the cabbage. funny thing is.......... they preach that you must always be prepared to make a defense for jehovah........ and i never did...... untill i became a christian. now it takes the pressure off.......... no need to be prepared.... just impossible NOT to speak up about god.

  my parents dont call untill someones dead...... and last time since the person was worldly....... they didnt even call then.

  there is now a grandson in the picture........... i refuse to allow any sort of brainwashing... and he will never be alone with any of them untill they have left that cult........

  have you ever heard kingdumb malady #74, the one about jehovah providing escape for the loyal?

  what exactly is he providing escape from?.

  here is a classic example of jehovah creating a problem where none existed, then heaping a ton of conditions that, if fulfilled, will result in being spared the calamity.

  Was There Any Watchtower Interpretation That You Never Quite Understood?

  i knew what the watchtower taught regarding the "faithful & discreet slave class" but how they could ever suggest that "domestics" were "individual members" of the anointed that were given food to the other anointed ones, yet they specifically were not members of the governing body, but the governing body represented the group that would take the lead in feeding others, was beyond me!

  the whole interpretation of the fds doctrine is ridiculous!.

  were there certain things that puzzled you as to how the watchtower could come up with a particular view?

  how about the "new horse s***" they had over how to interpret GENERATIONS..... how its not the 80 yr lifespan of a human............ but the way people thought.................................... yeah uh huh.

  FACT is they covering their asses when the time frame for those peeps if you multiplied the number of generations by the ages of peeps at 80 yrs............. that was ten years ago lol......

  ok so we were wrong......... we dont know s*** but please still buy our magazines and accept our brainwashing.

  Avoided the Meeting

  well, they wanted to talk about something, but i didn't have the time to meet with them, and luckily, one of the two who wanted to meet missed the meeting himself anyway, so the other said they would reschedule.

  i told them that last night would have been the best possible time to meet for a while, since my workload is picking up and i will simply not have time on my hands, so whatever it is, it will have to wait a while.

  i think i might just stop going to meetings for a while and stop answering my phone and door.

  but.................. if someone does knock on your door.......... and they cover the peep hole up with their hand............ dont answer the damn door.

  i did....... thought it was my mother and sister who (both dubs) were gonna be in town that afternoon............... it wasnt........... was the elder i had been avoiding for months.

  told him i had to get to bed for work early in the am and ended that conversation quickly. lol

  i had already deactivated my doorbell..... so i could sleep without them MFers wakeing me up twice a week............

  now point to be made.... they didnt say a word or even think about me for over a year untill my dad threw them a bone.

  yeah my dad is the PO of the cong and he was constantly bitching about how bad and evil the red cross was........ cause when the dubs came in and tryied to find their brothers and sisters................ the red cross put a stop to it.

  why you may ask? according to him if they took any people out the red cross didnt make as much money......... which is total horse s***. my wife worked with the red cross at ground zero and again during katrina (even tho they wouldnt let her go to new orleans and instead made her work with the evacuees) so she KNOWS what goes on with them. its cause the dubs only want their own............ and arent there to waste a dime on people who are obviously gonna be carrion in armageddon next week.

  so apparently not only are they the only ones allowed to speak for god (or to him for that matter) they are the only ones worth saveing as well.
