  so many nut cases are JW's

  i have seen so many jw's that are fruit loops, i'm not meaning clinical depression or mental illness, many are just balmy, they seem to be off tap.

  i would estimate that 1 in 4 are off their head.

  disruptive behaviour and trouble makers, gossipers and out right rude, so many seem to have problems out of the normal, many i find are backward, maybe that is the one way street of indoctinization.. what experiences have any had..

  as a dub your encouraged to be nuts. they love the mentally ill......... this way they can get them to do stuff that normal free thinking people would tell them HELL NO when asked. oh your suffering from a chemical imbalance.......... the cure is to attend all the meetings, read the bible constantly and to pray constantly, dont forget buying a four door car is a guaranteed way to be cured....... and go to all the meetings, and give us all the money you would normally be spending on doctors visits and medicines.......................... we want you to stay nuts and blame yourself for not being happy.

  those who like myself were born into the borg............ dont you find that in comparasion to people with normal upbringing.......... your socially retarded to a greater or lesser degree?

  im speaking from personal experince....... instead of haveing a normal childhood i was limited in socialisations and was forced to pioneer during the summer months with my parents so no interaction to have a clue. when i left it took me ages to straighten that part of me out........ hell i still am socially retarded but i push through it........ sometimes

  i was hoping silent lambs would resist the money and push for the exposure of the criminals.

  instead they cave in to the gag order and they took the money and ran!

  When Elders go too Far...

  this is just something that really peed me off regarding the elders, is how low they are sinking to get gossip and stuff now, i was in contact with a well trusted friend of mine who used to attend meetings up until 2 years ago, his wife is still in the jw org, he was having a joke around on some text messages with me regarding my man saying "try before you buy" and so on, which i found amusing....lets just say his wife didnt...she snooped on his phone, wrote out the texts he had sent me and gave the transcript to the elders, and now he has to go before a judicial commitee.

  how wrong is that, for a start its an invasion of privacy!

  i was fuming yesterday when i found out.

  Even if the guy is gay, they obviously have issues. Imagine being in her shoes. She has four kids with this guy and he prefers dingleberries. I would think most women that aren't into gay or bi-sexual men would feel a little insecure. Couple that with him talking about sex with another woman. She's probably sexually frustrated and her advances rejected many times. And the emotional closeness he displays with you is something she craves. Let me guess; she's a heavy drinker? He sounds like a real keeper. Personally, IMHO, she should dump him and make his ass pay child support. She can do 'bad' all by herself

  elders ALWAYS have spies looking, they brag about it. i knew an elder who had a favorite story..... he was going to talk to a man who had a problem with porn(preinternet) and he would take another brother and have them knock on the front door while he was waiting just outside the back door. guy ran out with an arm full of videos.......... can you say entrapment. they either spy on them personally or they recruit others.

  after i left that cult they tried to have a witness that lived in the same apartment building look out to see if she could catch me doing anything. every time i would come home she would be looking to see if i was bringing a woman to my place.

  they gotta live vicariously through others exploits.......... except its ok for them to look at porn and then repent now.

  this is a real subject here , so i welcome your responses , advice , and any experiences you can add that might help others and myself .

  most of us have family that are jw's , whether we are faded or dfed, or dissassociated .

  faded and not dfed........... parents know i go to another church ........ thus complete shunning. my grandmother knows but NOTHING will keep her from talking to her grandson. sister is also in the cult and is shunning completely. rest of my family are not witnesses but live along way from me.

  Please correct me if I am wrong (and I hope I am). Some of the allegations contained in these "secret" files is not true, but if dispensed improperly, could damage reputations and cause great harm to innocent people. I wonder if the federal Privacy Act(s) would make it possible for us to order those files destroyed or, at least, given to the person they malign.

  They surely have a file about me, and I did nothing wrong, at least according to the conventional meaning of morality.

  darlin........... you know those records would be just like the FLOCK book............ they simply dont exist.

  miraculously they would disappear long before they could be forced to turn them over to you.

  Getting your car ready for winter

  ?i just got a car in march and this will be my first winter driving it.i know i need a snow brush but those are pretty common around here.. anything i should do to the car it's self?

  I actually used to sell tires.I've checked my tires and all they need is rotated.I also need to keep and eye on the PSI.Other then that I will be fine.

  damn was gonna say u needed to change the air in the tires................. but surely u know better.Doh!

  Meeting RollerDave and seeing his aposta-truck up close

  sometimes when someone new comes on the board and makes a big splash, you wonder if it's all for real.. rollerdave arrived on this board in the last couple months and has lit it up with his insight and wit, including recent experiences dealing with his old family and congregation.. after i pm'd dave here i learned he was indeed the same dave i knew back in a north-side minneapolis kingdom hall oh so many years ago.

  we talked on the phone last weekend and actually got together for the first time last night.

  as i expected he is just as genuine and witty and fun as he shows on this discussion board.
