  I got that dreaded call....

  my ex sister in law called me this morning to tell me that bother had shot himself.. he was raised a witness but stopped going at 18. he was my favorite brother always level headed and smart.. except lately.

  apparently he has been robbing banks in ca this summer.

  he led the police on a freeway chase and decided to shot himself instead of go to jail.. now i am wondering how well i know anyone at all anymore.. .

  seriously, if your at home in your closet deciding which outfit you're gonna wear to work, school or out to play, and thinking how you'll look more attractive in this or that....do you not know that guys are gonna stare at you?

  but you see these females on occasion that will get all in an uproar when some guy is staring at them....but hello...didn't you choose with pin-point accuracy, the exact top that's gonna reveal your cleavage at it's fullest?????

  nah they all loved me, i wasnt an a$$hole but a fun person. they know nothing about me now that ive left that state and went to two others since. i know my parents arent saying anything lol.............. well at least not to me as they dont talk to me.

  Self-Esteem Shot To Pieces - No Friends

  school sucked for me as a witness.. i always wanted to be popular, have friends, have a girlfriend, go to parties, play after school sport, stay the night at friends places, do all the other stuff which was fun and made you socially acceptable - which made you feel normal - but was disallowed because i was a witness child.. i thought everything everyone did at school was a direct test of satan on me.

  that's what i was told.. so i tried to go through school living a "double life".

  i desperatley wanted to be obidient to my witness mother who i loved so much and have her approval... so while i tried hard to pretend i wasn't a witness at school - for fear of being ostracized by my peers - i also was obviously "different" to my friends...and because of this i took a lot of shit for it and eventually became unpopular to the point where i dropped out of high school because i thought no one liked me.. for example: i would never "go out" with girls who wanted to go out with me... because i was afraid they would ring my home and my mum would be "disappointed in me" and angry and upset at me.

  But i have no friends in the world... so i really feel like i have no choice but to go back to meetings

  my friend............. that is a mind control device they use so damn much its sick.

  so many of us either are in your situation....... or were in your situation. the religion makes you either abandon your friends and family............... or they make you witness to them so much that they get tired of hearing it and quit comeing around you.

  end result is still you being isolated and lovebombed so you wont realize whats happening. you have so many "true friends" in the org. so you get those invitations and all that crap............. then you get bapt............ guess what? THEN your not good enough for them.......... why? cause you got a 2 door car....... or you dont put the national average of feild circus time in. or you dont have the perfect haircut or perfect black suit.......... the list is endless.

  fact is buddy............. you made friends in school............... you were in the COOL group if only for a while. that means your likeable and people when they get to know you value your company. so meet people at work, befriend them.

  find things you like to do locally.............. bike, hike, play video games........... whatever. go do those things and cut up with the people there............. and since they are there doing something that you like............. you have something in common. that will get you friends... choose them wisely and then forget about that brainwashing cult.

  live your life the way you want to, for your happyness and screw those old dried up bastards. they are like joy and fun vampires............. they suck it out of you and always will.

  you can even get friends here, attend some of the fests.......... we know how socially retarded we are when we leave that cult. so if your shy just being there you can get a kick out of the weird bastards who left with you.

  you will see the crazy ones humping chairs in the middle of the dancefloor, and generally beeing fools.................... HAPPY FOOLS.............. so even if your still in the shy stage not knowing what you want to do............. at least you will get that laugh and break the ice.

  when you realize finally that those old F*****s in brooklyn dont control you anymore............... then thats when you truly start to enjoy life.

  so with all that crap......... i bid you welcome to JWD and enjoy your stay among your kindred

  So what does the av jdub do with all the "old light" books?

  hi, posting on another thread, i asked this question.

  i would like to know - what do they do with the 'old light' books?

  does it not occur to them that they have a pile of books that they are not allowed to read?

  well the fact of the matter is.......... those books have blatantly different words in them than the dang cd does......... why? because they live only for two things................. to fleece the flock........... and to cover their own asses.

  remember when they provided binders for your copys of the wt and awake? they quit doing that........ you wanna know why? because if you keep the old copys of the magazines they say tons of wrong things according to that so called new light. so they want you to dump them after you get the bound volume for that year............... because in that book they will have changed any doctrine they need to to whatever the NEW LIGHT says.

  so you got the cd................. you look up the info you need and then you prepare your talk........ cutting and pasteing the pertinent info and then print it out........... that way you dont have to carry those huge volumes. so if the article is in a bound volume older than 10 years........... you just use the cd instead........... and when they make the new cd........... they change stuff on that as well. cause you KNOW they NEVER SAID 75 WAS THE YEAR............... it was misled brothers.................. unless you show them the tons of places in an original pre 75 wt where it is printed.
