  NEW USE FOR THE WATCHTOWER!!!

  in the mail today i received 5 solicitations for a new credit cards.

  i saw them as a plea for guidance from god.

  so i rounded up all my old watchtowers and placed them in theprovided postage paid envelopes, hoping that the credit card company employees would find direction within their pages.. i encourage everyone to spread jehovah's word, using the same postage paid envelopes.

  Avoiding an Elder

  i'm almost six months past walking away from the religion, and one of the elders has risen and thrown a monkey wrench into my entire plan.

  things have been great actually.

  since i've managed to shed myself of congregation responsiblities, the elders have gotten off my back quite a bit.

  that my dear friends is what you call a "well frog". they grow up in the well and if it dosent happen inside the well.............well it dosent matter. the well is their life and they NEVER leave it. they cant even imagine getting to the top of the well and looking past the edges.........

  How Have You Gone About Making Friends Since Leaving the Witnesses ?

  i've noticed lately that some on our board, or perhaps for many of us, that's why i'm writing this , have had a challenge making new friends after leaving the jehovah's witnesses religion.

  it has been a mixed bag for me.

  i have met some through my wife, who is not a witness.

  i find that if you are friendly around people they will like to be around you. i have met many friends at work, and if you have a particular hobby, and can find a good place that caters to it.......... you can meet people with your same likes and dislikes. for me its guns and knives........... so if anyone needs someone shot or cut............... jk

  i've noticed lately that some on our board, or perhaps for many of us, that's why i'm writing this , have had a challenge making new friends after leaving the jehovah's witnesses religion.

  it has been a mixed bag for me.

  i have met some through my wife, who is not a witness.

  get to know your bartenders/waiters/waitresses - even your checkout people at your favorite store

  heyyy that really works......... you even get free stuff or discounts lol.

  i would walk in and they automaticly bring me my 2 pitchers of iced tea and i tip em 20%..... win win situation

  How far away was your Kingdom Hall ?

  i had to drive 20 km or 12.5 miles round trip to go to a meeting........after so many years, that adds up !!

  and to get a ride the last ten miles i had to blow a priest

  lmao .......... lol..... i lived about 7 miles and it took about 15 minutes to get there growing up..... then i moved and it was about10 minutes away.......... then i quit going completely and moved several states away.

  currently there is a hall about 5 minutes away.............. thought about lighting a papersack full of doggie doo and putting it on the drive through in front of the door......... but then thought......... why waste a perfectly good bag of doggie poo...............

  got a suggestion.......... send them exactly one picture of your family a year........... in the form of a christmas ornament where the picture cannot be removed or altered and it is blatantly an ormament. thats what im gonna do with my family........ any other pics they want will have to come through other parties lol

  we both know a couple that have been inactive for almost a decade.

  this week they were disfellowshipped because someone had seen christmas decorations.
