  Wisconsin Man Throws Baby Out of Car

  the baby girl, strapped in the carseat seen in the road, was unhurt.. watch police video of chase

  green bay, wis. (sept. 14) - a man threw his fiancee's 8-month-old daughter out of a car as he fled police after being accused of domestic violence, authorities said.

  I wonder, if maybe the man knew things were going to end badly, sort of like a "suicide by cop" and wanted to get the baby out of the car, knowing the cops would be there (since they were chasing him) to help the baby. Ends up it ended in a very bad accident bad enough to where the man eventually died from his wounds, so maybe he knew the baby would have been badly hurt, if he had not been removed from the car. Since the guy slowed way down, maybe he could have been trying to save the baby?

  JW Holocaust Survivors Account

  i was told by a very active witness, that since jw's also suffered along with the jews during the holocaust, apparently damages were paid out.

  the society manages the account with the survivors money in it, and supposedly looks for the survivors, or family of the survivors to get them their money.

  does anyone know anything about this.

  Good link Valis. Wonder what they mean by the Swiss connection? I just kept reading one part over and over "Unlike other victims, most witnesses had a choice" The jews had no choice. Then the part about the educational and academic presentations, wonder where and when those were done.

  Very good question.

  Besides perhaps a list of names they may have, I wonder what they are doing for outreach, to let people know that the funds are available and that they should inquire as to how to receive them. Then, if some never recieve their money, what happens to it, does the society just get to keep it?

  My friend went to have it done, she said she could hear and FEEL the doctor ripping her eye. She said he got nervous, and said he could not finish the procedure. She asked why, he said his scalpal was dull, had not been sharpened. Yup, her tore here eye with a dull scalpel. She went to another opthamalogist, and he checked her out, said there was no permanent damage. But, to this day she still wears glasses, she wont chance it again.

  Do You Still Think & Act Like A Witness??

  one of the criticisms i see on this board, especially if one points out a similarity between jws and jwd or other similar discussion boards, is that a person is still seeing things in the eye of a jehovah's witness.

  what's your take on that?

  Sometimes, as different things come up mostly with my children, I will have an initial gut reaction. Then, I stop myself and think "WAIT, is this a JW reaction" I really hate to admit it, after all these years, sometimes I do think some of my reactions come from JW thinking. But at least I stop myself and think about it, and try to re-direct myself.
