since his birthday and father's day are both a week or two later i would like to celebrate them with him while he is here.
I'm serious about the quality time...nothing makes me feel better than to sport my 4 yr old girl around and hear people say stuff like... oh she's so cute ....or she's so smart...I'm always humble about it and say yes.... she gets that from me.
I bet your dad would feel the same way sporting his 26 yr old daughter around town...even with the mohawk.

i remember a month ago, receiving a slip at my door, saying that the memorial is this coming sunday, and it was signed by an elder, saying "your brother" elder so and so.
it was as if he and i were at the same level by writting "your brother".
the first reaction i had, seeing "your brother", acted as if we had a special bond, with a responsibility attached to it.. do you think that being called "brother or sister" is a way of manipulating you, a way of getting more out of you?
It always sounded a little weird and not as special as they thought it was considering every Union meeting I went to we all called each other brother as well.
Now it makes my skin crawl a little...unless it's my real sister or one of my actual brothers.

i'm planning a small vacation in about 2 month's time.
i'll be going back to the city where i spent my teens through twenties.

One question, if beating a perfect man violently and savagely to the point of near death and then hanging him on a cross in such a painful manner was required for mankinds salvation. What does that say about the one whom provides this salvation?
If Jesus died in his sleep, killed by the traitor Judas would that have sufficed or would that have not been painful and grusom enough?
