First day at work!
by maybesbabies inwell, i had my first day at work today, hungover from too much wine at an art showing i went to, but otherwise did ok!
this place seems pretty awesome so far!!!!!
we get free lunch catered everyday, my co-workers are totally fun, the bank in the plaza offers freebies and benefits for employees of our company (zeeba surgical), and the salon downstairs offers discounts!!!

Well, I had my first day at work today, hungover from too much wine at an art showing I went to, but otherwise did ok! This place seems pretty awesome so far!!!!! We get free lunch catered everyday, my co-workers.....offer freebies ............ My boss seems to really like me, and I like her! ......... The pay isn't anything to get excited about, but the other perks make up for it!!!! Now, off to bed, so I might be a little more coherent in the morning!!!!

Cars at the Kingdom Hall

sometimes the occasional 2-door car, which was generally frowned upon for service.
ok, let's hear it... what kind of car did you drive when you were a dub?.

The cars all depend on the wealth of the territory...One hall I was in the lot was full of Mercedes, BMW's and Lexus....my 92 pontiac 4 door was out of place...but it was paid for.

what do you do when JWs call at your door now?
by franklin J ini have been away from jws for 20 years, after having grown up as one, a pioneer and ministerial servant.
i have rebuilt my life, am very happy and have a wife and three kids who never were part of jw.
i have moved back into the town i grew up in.

Why not try amazing's approach from a couple of month's ago or at least engage them in a discussion about some of the child abuse allegations popping up everywhere....
Ask them if you become a JW and find that their teachings are false could you leave and what would the consequences be for doing what the bible says, to flee from false teachings?
Or tell them them to get stuffed...take your pick

What JW belief/idea do you disagree with the most ???
by run dont walk inis there a particular belief/doctrine that really burns you up and makes you wonder how people could believe this, and did you as a loyal jw at one time believe in it (your most hated belief), what made you change your mind ???.
for me, i always enjoy reading the history of the watchtower (1879-1974), and how things constantly change from year to year.
the sodom and gomorrah question is hilarious .

At what age should JW children start going to the KH?
by JH indid it bother you to see new born babies go to the kingdom hall?
only a few days/weeks old, and already at the kingdom hall.
the baby crying throughout the meetings.. at what age would it have been reasonable to bring a child to his first meeting?

I like the idea of a Sunday school arrangement which most religions use much more than the dub idea of making children listen to the WT which even the adults don't understand.

You know we took our baby at less than two weeks of age to a DC...she puked constantly....guess she was trying to tell me something.
