my heart hurts.
by flower inwell i have been feeling a bit like crap lately.
work has been very stressful and my attempts to make new friends outside of the jw's have been mostly futile.
the people i work with are immature and are more interested in the latest office gossip and whose doing what than anything else.

You know what makes me feel great flower....playing with my child...although this means that sometimes I am a bear locked in cage or Tigger bouncing around the house. She likes to paint my nails with imaginary paint....imaginary paint is easier to remove.

"Worldy" girfriend or JW girlfriend... Help me choose...

enjoying being single.. right now i have a "worldy" girlfriend (note the quotes " ").. but there's this incredibly beautiful jw girl that has shown interest in me.. (i'm not df or da, just not going to meetings.

One girl is a JW the other is just a girl, wordly is the tag JW's use and even though you are free you choose to keep placing that tag on people.
If you were to be honest to each girl and tell them your feelings about the borganization which girl would be more accepting and understanding?
Will the JW girl be willing to get married outside of the organization, will she enjoy being shunned by her family.
If you care for her that much, which it doesn't really sound like you do or you would not have mentioned her good looks and being a virgin then try getting her free from the borg first before you date her.
Choose the girl that allows you to be true to yourself because if your not the relationship is doomed from the start.

Nickey I see you live in California...have any of your witness relatives seen the news articles about all the molestation cases in California?
When they see news like that it's disturbing to most dubs, and they usually make the statement that the media is blowing it out of proportion. When they say that ask them if the media did the same thing to the Catholic church.

Nickey I enjoyed your post...I would not send a family member to an exjw site unless I was sure they could handle it first.
I've only been on the forum for a few months but have noticed every once and while crazy threads or threads meant to be funny...I even joined in once and a while. I think it's human nature to try to trivialize or put humour into some of the situations we speak of and discuss. If we didn't the pain may be too much to handle. Pranks at the expense of current dubs is not acceptable behavior and I'll agree some comments are also less than desirerable.
The thread on rumours was not meant to be hurtful, silly maybe. When I think of starting a rumour I want it to be one which will make my dub relatives think it's real enough to check it out. Maybe some how it could make them start to think. Was half of those rumours on that thread any stranger than Building a house in San Diego for Abraham to live in and a Cadillac to drive him around in? If that were to happen today they could have bought a studebaker and people would have thought it was ZZtop on tour.
The freeminds or watchtower information service websites are informative and would probably be the best place to send your family.
Sorry if I've ever posted anything which you or others have found distasteful, it was unintentional.
