It seems to be a loose interpretation of the s147-20.08 regarding
"adjustment to resolved congregation donations" paragraphs 6 and 7.
6. Adjustment to Resolved Congregation Donations: The resolved monthly donation referred to in the announcement for congregations is based on a monthly per-publisher amount suggested by the branch office. The single monthly donation to the worldwide work will replace the resolved donations previously remitted in support of Kingdom Hall and Assembly Hall construction worldwide, the Global Assistance Arrangement, and any branch-specific arrangements. Instructions for Congregation Accounting (S-27), related accounting forms, and the Funds Transfer page on jworg will be updated in due course.
7. The per publisher amount listed on the jworg web page containing the link to this announcement should be multiplied by the number of active publishers in the congregation to determine the suggested monthly donation for your congregation. It is understood that some congregations will not be able to donate the suggested amount while others will be able to donate more. Therefore, the body of elders should consider whether the suggest- ed amount would impose a hardship on the congregation or the congregation is in a posi- tion to donate the suggested amount or more. The monthly donation agreed upon by the body of elders should be presented in a resolution to the congregation for approval. Please note that the resolved donation should be sent on a monthly basis and not as a single amount for the service year.

by BluesBrother init is a challenge next sunday for them .
due to starting the convention programme the wt study will be a 30 minute run through ,and deals with this prophecy ... i doubt the younger ones are familiar with it at all bur oldies could debate it at length .we on the look out for the king of the north to enter "the land of decoration" (more to follow,maybe next week).
this article makes a grand claim in par 2.

I actually looked up in a copy of the old green study bible (circa 1953-1960) that my parents had and sure enough its as you stated in your above post.
I checked yesterday out of curiosity and was going to post it today!!
So, obviously it becomes more evident that the need of the NWT was to support Freddy and Co's philosophies.
I shared the information you provided including the bible hub site info ,which by the way I frequent on a daily basis, with a pimi associate and left him perplexed. His observation ...."the whole meaning is reversed to what the wt implies."
Oh well,, small steps and who knows?

"all institutions are doing in not joining is doubling down on the crime and doubling down on the hurt," they said in a letter to 25 institutions.. "we consider it to be reprehensible that you have failed to sign up to the scheme.".
the jehovah's witnesses is among the organisations that has refused to sign up, arguing it does not have the institutional settings of other faith-based institutions that the redress scheme is designed to cover.. senator ruston is set to name the non-participating institutions on wednesday, when she will announce what action the federal government will take against them.. "we urge you to join the scheme not because of concerns about being identified, but because it is the right thing to do," the minister and mr morrison said.. "it is the right thing to do by survivors and their families and it is what every, decent, honest, australian demands.".

Six institutions, including the Jehovah's Witnesses, have been publicly named by the Federal Government for failing to sign up to the National Redress Scheme for victims of institutional child sexual abuse.
Key points:
- Organisations had until last night to join the program
- The Government says those which did not sign up will no longer receive Commonwealth funding
- 380 non-government institutions have signed up or intend to sign up to the scheme
Organisations had until last night to join the program, with the Commonwealth promising to not only reveal those which refused to take part, but also cut them off from future federal funding and consider ways to cut their charitable status.
The six institutions are Australian Air League, Boys' Brigade NSW, Fairbridge Restored Limited, Lakes Entrance Pony Club, Jehovah's Witnesses and Kenja Communications.
There are 55 applications from victims of child sexual abuse that cannot currently be processed as a result of the six groups failing to sign up.
Social Services Minister Anne Ruston was scathing as she urged the organisations to think about the consequences of not joining.
"Think about the reputational damage by you saying, as an organisation, that despite having a history of working with children, despite having applications against your organisation for child sexual abuse, you still refuse to accept your moral obligation and responsibility to come forward and allow these people the small thing of a bit of redress and a small amount of money to acknowledge that they actually have had wrongs committed against them," she told the ABC's AM program.

The Commonwealth and state and territory governments have all signed up to the scheme — covering any abuse that happened within their institutions.
In total, 224 non-government institutions have agreed to take part in the scheme, while another 156 have signalled their intention to join.
Jehovah's Witnesses argued it did not have the "institutional settings" needed to be covered by the National Redress Scheme.
"Jehovah's Witnesses understand that, to date, there have been less than 10 applicants to the redress scheme who have referred to the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses," the organisation's Tom Pecipajkovski told the ABC.

Senator Ruston said it was not up to Jehovah's Witnesses or other organisations to decide whether their models suited the scheme or not.

"Let the independent scheme assess the validity of the arguments you're putting forward because they may well be correct but it's not for them to decide.
"We have applications and we have a responsibility to process them."
The Minister said in the future if a new non-participating organisation was named in an application, it would have six months from when it was notified of the application to join the scheme, or be publicly named and be ineligible for Commonwealth funding.
