I would be very disturbed, with member of my family it would disgust me.How low in morale one person can go?Everything that have to do with that sort of behavier is to me,revolting.

if your friend or relative revealed that they were gay, you would be obligated to "report" them to the elders.

by JH indid it bother you to see new born babies go to the kingdom hall?
only a few days/weeks old, and already at the kingdom hall.
the baby crying throughout the meetings.. at what age would it have been reasonable to bring a child to his first meeting?

Blondie,you pointed out some istances that I think,doesn`t make much sense. There are things that you can not help other can be done. To force children and even worst babys,in some situations like a must for YOUR belive this is cruel and abusive system. You can ,as I can see from the forum itself, how many end it up, with great resentments toward not only the org.but mostly toward they own parents.If comonsense is practised,if we let our children want it or not ,maybe the effects could be more positive in a democatic ways. We all have made lots of mistake,but to contine to rub on a sleepery surface that in inconceiveble.The imposition of any thing at all have never been successefull.

he knew that witnesses believe in the resurrection of the dead on earth, in a different physical body during the millennium.. i told him that it won't be the same physical body, and maybe won't be identical, but it's the same person.

heather s.,when I was catholic I did not know much as the j.w s.,but answering to your question that is I can answer to you in few words that they never say much about any things.As a ex catholic,I only new that He was resurrected ,and gon to seat next to his father the God.Even when I have had the chance to read the bible( quite seldom ) I never question any thing because the priest would say always the same words< dear do not worry for such things,live it to God (very close thinking like the j.w ).So with that in mind who would care to ask for more question? so if things have not change to this days,you go the picture. bye arancia

today i had an episode of dissociation, the feeling of being totally disconnected from everything and everyone.
as if all of a sudden i knew no one or wasnt connected to anyone.

I am an ex catholic in first place,and now exj.w.I live my life as I always did.I got in the borg for 14 years,I disassociated 1year ago,they are not robbing my sleep for sure.I have almost forgot I was one of them. Therefore I want all the bad things and memories out of my mind I look at the brightest side of life ciao arancia

How many have left the WTS and joined another church/group?
by BLISSISIGNORANCE inat this point in my life i don't think i could trust any religious group.
i don't even feel the need to be a part of anything like that right now, and maybe never will.. but i know of some who have joined other churches/groups since leaving the borg.. why do some join another religion and why won't some ever get involved again?.
what makes us so different?.

For the some reason that someone who declare not to be a j.w anymore,still on the borgs list.They must have a reason or need to be part of somethings .To go against the borgs and been half in is somenting I will never fully understand. So another church or group is not different from the above mentioned situation.

the millenium has passed, everyone has been resurrected, and earth has become the true paradise the jws predicted.. only one problem: you've done everything there is to do.
you've gone every place on earth there is to go.

assuming that it would be held in a kh; or even if it wasn't.. this is something that's been on my mind lately; honestly, i'm not sure why.
my parents are both still relatively young; 60 and 61. my dad has been diagnosed with skin cancer but both are otherwise healthy.. i really don't know whether i would; particularly for my father.

When my mother died,I choose not to walk into the catholic church,that means I only was present at the burial place.She was a sick woman for ten long years,confined in a nursing home,she end-up been a vegetable,she needed 24 hours a day care.I was there during all those years,and I was suffering with the pain that only love for your mother can give. Impotent in alleviate her the conditions she was in.Many times she smiled at me that ment she knew I was there.The night ,before she got into coma, I ask her to giveme a sign that she knew I was there and she did she blink her right eye,and after that she deterioreted and died at about ten am. My sisters were there,they were in church as well ,but not there they were when my mother most needed them.I did not even share a word with them,It simply made me sick to see how far hipocresy can go.If one day,mine children decided to not be at mine funeral,it could be one of those day similar to many others.

and they leave you with the impression that you don't deserve to know anyway when you ask, when so much is hinging on if they really are telling the truth or just wishful thinking onn their part.
personly all humans are basicly good people if you look at them from gods point of veiw, he can see beyond our imperfections anyway, so its not like we have to be just right.

If they made up some parts of the bible,according to their needs what can you expect?they only numbered 144.000,other churches have a list of saints that never end(all made by the pope)the rest (poor us )go to hell.As you have said only God know`shis holy ones.
