  Helping your Loved one correlate WT mind control by exposing OTHEr groups

  ive been watching "the following" lately and my wife watched a few episodes with me.

  she couldnt fathom at first the depth that mind control or "destructive influence" can take you.

  so in accordance with hassans "freedom of mind" i have decided that exposing other cults to my wife will help me help her to find correlations to the wt and hopefully lead her to the bite model.

  Watch this video, I think it would be good start to help some people see things a little differently. It's a young ex-Norman who discusess the BITE model, and there's a lot of ways you can relate it to the JWs. He only makes one mention of the JWs using this method so just skip that part in the beginning. Aside from that, he only talks of Mormans and Moonies.

  Unquestioning obedience

  this has been demanded over the years by the wt.

  it used to be mildly subtle the way the words were couched.. then they came out with, what they have repeated recently, that it is necessary to obey, even if you cannot understand the reasons, cannot understand why you are being asked to do something.. as a born in i knew nothing of it being a cult, and was only aware of the mind control in a foggy sort of way, accepting it as their way of trying to keep control.. but when i saw those words about unquestioning obedience, my blood ran cold, it then hit me that something was wrong, badly wrong.. how did you react ?.

  I think by making these statements, they're preparing for something big or some questionable idea in the future. When it comes to changing doctrines, the Watchtower always makes some sort of minor adjustments that add up throughout the years until it's different, although on some occasions it's a big leap. Once it's ingrained to obey without questioning, it's hook, line, and sinker for them

  No more circuit assemblies

  i heard from a reliable source that there will be no more 2 day assemblies, but instead 2 one days each year.

  anyone heard this yet?

  Could this be a sign of one of their cut backs on $$$? The good news is that now I won't have to sit 8 more hours there. I can only pay attention for so long before my mind wanders, and now that I know ttatt makes it more difficult. it's kind of ironic that they made a cut since just a while back there was a Watchtower study on the importance of assemblies and in an upcoming Kingdom Ministry, it keeps talking about the assembly. Anyway, once the congregations hear the news, they'll just accept it without really thinking about it, or just see it as a new arrangement that "our wonderful faithful and discreet slave" has provided.

  par 10 - "significant funds are needed to support kingdom activities.

  each year tens of millions of dollars are spent caring for the expenses of traveling overseers, special pioneers and missionaries".. so the gb wants you to support their "kingdom interest", but can care less about the local congregation pioneers who for some struggle to make ends meet, who use their gas driving all around the territory putting wear and tear on their cars sometimes not getting gas money to take care of their expenses, let alone any repairs needed.

  Not just that, I bet some of that money is used to pay off victims of child abuse cases, like the Candice Conti one. Where else are they going to pull funds to pay those large amounts of money? In LA county, and I think Orange County too, they are having members now pay for 72 new congregations they plan to build. This was mentioned a few months back. When the letter concerning the project was read, the elder reading it used this same article to convince people to donate.

  i read the watchtower article on this "new light.

  " has any information on how "this generation" turned into two overlapping generations of only anointed people been printed?

  the word "evidence" was thrown around a lot in the article, but none was provided unless something has been printed since then and i have missed it.

  Oh this picture is very real. It's not a fake. The car might belong to the CO since it was his visit week, but im not 100% sure. Still, easy way to advertise their website. After all, with the release of the recent Awake on that, and the push for members to use and tell people at the door to visit the website, this could be the next step. Or maybe it's just reserved for more important members.

  Now predicting increase of anointed?

  i came across this nugget in the may 2014 issue:.

  "are you moving ahead with jehovah's organization".

  ....at one time, the anointed remnant were like the little one, but their number grew as other spiritual israelites were brought into gods organization.

  Maybe they realized their efforts to discourage new partakers failed. Since the numbers have grown despite them saying that some were "mentally or emotionalky imbalanced" 3 years ago, there's no way to brush it off. If you can't beat them, join them. Plus writing another statement like they did before might just cause more people to question. I think the partake numbers will rise because its 100 years since 1914. After that it might drop similar to what happened in 1975.
