  i was thinking today about how i no longer have to fear the attack of satan against the jws.

  i used to fear being rounded up and beaten by mobs.

  seeing my family tortured.

  i meet a 6 years baptised jw girl.

  we planned to marry here in philippines ( no divorce here }.

  judge told me he can do the marriage so we livived together to be married.

  yesterday pope francis appologized to the victims of priestly sex-abuse!.

  former pope benedict resigend saying he was not comfortable with a system in which an increasing number of priests themselves abuse children!.

  That's exactly what I thought when I saw that. The WTBS are sooo proud, they will never acknowledge their wrongdoings, let alone apologize for it.

  We all know what happens, pride comes before a fall.

  Let's give them enough rope and hopefully they'll hang themselves.

  i was invited by my parents, and even though i have nothing but contempt for this religion, things have been good in our relationship so i was considering going just to appease them.

  Advice, Opinions, Please!

  do any of you sometimes experience difficulty in shaking wt teachings?

  like it intrudes in your daily life and thought and some things that may be alright, now you feel as if they're wrong or you plain just don't know.

  i know the wt is a lie but i haven't lost my faith in god, i know he's there but it's hard knowing whats the right thing to do.

  I've always found it hard not to celebrate birthdays and Christmas. When I married my non-jw hubs, I kind of "went with the flow", going out for meals on birth "days" buying Christmas food and singing carols.

  I started fading in 2006 though. I went back for a few months last year but it was never in my heart.

  I hope I don't offend anyone but I don't believe not having sex before marriage. God gave us feelings and senses to experience things. I won't labour the point but you get the picture.

  I didn't like Jehovah too much. I like God and Jesus though and I go to a "normal" church now, where they don't make you feel guilty, or expect anything from you.

  My relationship with the world is also better now I'm out of the cult.

  Does Christianity Need The Bible

  christianity began it's formation without the bible.

  the bible, as we know it, is a collection of what were very old texts when they were assembled by christian leaders in the late second and third centuries because they were deemed to be inspired by god.. whether they really were inspired by god or not is now open to debate, but should they prove to not be, it should not undermine christianity as an establishment.. discuss......

  your favourite football team or the watchtower?.

  i mean geting out the watchtower i realize my favourite football team treats me as bad as the watchtower.even if buy the tickets and half time hot dogs....in fact i think they treat me worse.
