by quellycatface ini'm thinking about going to church again because i'm really interested in god (today)!!.
sometimes i'm so confused and feel like there is no god, other days i do and want to try and get to know him.. i guess i'm scared because of all the bs that went on in the kh.. there is a local baptist church near me that seems nice.
i'm in the uk.

I read on another local church website that all their workers are CRB checked. Criminal Records Bureau (UK), for previous criminal convictions and all that. I wonder why the WT don't do this as JW.Org seem to think they are way ahead of Christendom?
Where shall I go?? I don't want to be part of a cult again. Or a crazy church.
Any ideas?

I guess I'm scared because of all the BS that went on in the KH.
There is a local Baptist church near me that seems nice. I'm in the UK. The kids go and do crafting, play games etc.....
I'm also curious what the minister talks about in his sermons.

by RottenRiley ini ran in to a ex-jw and had a good laugh once he realized i was not going to shun him.
i am a different soul when we are dealing with watchtower demonology, everything about the organization is fan boy based.
watchtower creates the illusion of a community that never existed, we were too blind to realize most of the people we invested time with was nothing more than a farce, once you can't offer up more sacrfices on the watchtower's alter, your going to get less attention and eventually if your kingdom hall is big enough, they won't come looking for you.. .

Don't make a big deal about it.relax.it's a great contrast to the MIL.my mum used to try this but she knows it won't work.just be there for your wife and getting advice here.

Does Anyone Feel the Ministerial School Helped Them?

my cousins were also born-in but lived in different states.
there was keen competition to see who could do mature things, such as baptism (my mom said when i was 35) and ministry school.

Why doesn't god do anything tangible now?
by punkofnice ini was always told that god did loads of stuff that was evidence of his existance.
ususally very brutal things too (b#st@rd).. jesus walked on water and raised the dead we are told.. it seems to me also that the older the story, the more exaggerated it is...y'know...talking snake......global flood.. there are those that claim god speaks to them now and they alone 'know' it.

I Am Home Today With A Lousy Back Ache
