I have some non-Christian friends who work at my local supermarket, who, over the last 7 months, have heard my little snippets of how I have been shunned by some JW employees. I am a regular customer at this store.

2 of my friends have brought this issue up with the store manager and have voiced their disapproval of this practice. You basically leave your religion at the front door and when you are in work uniform. These ladies did this out of their own sense of fairness and conscience.

This is now being investigated by the managers.

This is just a small step, I know but I am so hopeful that it will make this nasty little cult sit up and take notice. You cannot treat people like this.

Will keep you posted on progress.

my daughter is having some problems with her neighbors.

she says " god will take care of it " i say "yeah god was going to help that child being raped but wait a minute, stop you need some help.

why are your trivial problems more important than starving children ?

islam /muslims today are what christianity was centuries ago , the two beleif systems are like oil and water , not to be mixed .

christians are not tolerated spreading their infectious disease amongst muslims, in islamic countrys , and harsh penalties apply for them doing so in muslim countries , including the death penalty.

stonings , whippings etc.. on the other hand christian nations are very tolerant of muslim extremists who incite hatred and violence on their own territory , and they get a slap on the wrist and say dont do it again .

I don't like Islam. You cannot leave the religion. That poor woman in Sudan, charged with apostasy, sentenced to 100 lashes and hanging - in the name of Islam. Disgusting

I have no respect for this religion.

It's amazing when you experience other cultures and see true hospitality, to even complete strangers. I have met wonderful people all over who, though they have very little, share what they have. True good people.

If I asked for a loan from the WBTS would they give it to me?

if this were the "organization" that jesus chose in 1914.. err 1919, wouldn't the principles that he laid out while on earth apply to this organization as well?.

matthew 5:42 "give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.".

so if jw's all asked for loans from the org, every now and then, it would be the orgs responsibility to grant those loans (interest free).

Local JW Booth - Are You STRESSED?

so, yesterday i approached the local jw booth that is a few blocks from my house.

they are set up on the sidewalk, at the edge of a downtown park.

the display was merely rows of a magazine, with the headline *are you stressed?*.
