Wimbledon!

starts today!

now that england have slightly spoiled my world cup with their early failure, i am focusing a little more on the tennis.

i happen to live 15 minute walk from the wimbledon tennis courts so am completely caught up in the atmosphere, i will be joining the queue with a friend thursday night, camping out for the ticket queue early friday morning.

Public Speaker Cries During His Talk

his talk was about reaching out for the real life.. he is in his mid seventies, then begins to rant on about staying loyal to the organization because many of us have lost loved ones in death and if we want to see them again we must remain in the organization.

he says he wants to see his father again, then the tears begin to flow right there on the stage.... then an elderly sister during the watchtower study admits to regetting leaving her daughter behind to seek a better life in the u.s, and she is crying.... these 2 meetings was just plain weird..

most people here have never met you.

we converse, discuss, argue, laugh, agree, question, share our lives..... quite often, you kind of get to know what a person is like.

some people, we tend to gravitate to and others, we shy away from.. how do you think you come across to other people?

I can be impulsive with my reactions and comments. I think I try to do the right thing. My heart is in the right place but not everyone understands me.

on the basis that most of us realise the w.t wasnt really the best " job" or way to spend our days, it would be fun to find out what people would really have liked to have done with there lifes and if this is still possible.

or maybe its not even a very realistic ambition just a dream.

in my dreams i stay at home all day and make a living from being a professional artist.maybe i need a phycholgist?.

Not everyone has the opportunity to be well educated or articulated. Saying that, an enquiring mind will teach you everything about life and people. I believe it's called the University of Life.

I came from a normal working class home. I went to university, only because my Dad made me but I loved it. I'm not a great academic but I loved the English language, reading, writing short stories and poems. I also love travel. I worked as a Flight Attendant to fuel my travel bug. I loved meeting people and arriving in New countries. I love food, wildlife and nature.

I've been lucky.
