Clean the engine bay with a degreaser and wash/steam off. Run vehicle slowing making sure oil and water topped up. See where oil is coming from, (check temp gauge if shows any sign of getting hot stop). This will show where the leak is and take it to the garage from there. If engine has overheated at all chances are you have a blown head.

Are You A Deisel Mechanic? Problem With My Motor, HELP
by Celtic ini drive a peugeot 405 gt turbo deisel estate, fitted with the 1769cc engine on a k plate (early 90's).. just now i noticed on the way home that from the bottom of the engine, oil was absolutely pissing out the thing, i managed to get the car the few miles home, topping up often with fresh oil.
are there any deisel mechanics amongst us who might be able to tell me what the problem is, would it be the oil seal or perhaps the sump which is knackered?.
if you are not familiar with these engines or have knowledge of deisel engined cars, could i ask politely, that you do not respond to this thread, cheers.. many thanks in advance.. .

things that niggle you.......Grrrrrrr........whats yours?
by ScoobySnax ini'll tell you what niggles me and makes me cringe at the same time, its sitting in a boring lecture at work on a managers "away day" and having someone keep using those same tired dick-head phrases that i hate.. eg:.
"lets think outside the box".
"lets all network in groups".

Stoned on and off for a couple of years, helped me cope with it all by blanking it out. Parents just thought I was was quiet and accepting. Short term memory still bad. Need lists for everything.

In the business I work for we have a witness family we deal with. One of there sons came in (aged 40, single) and asked to use the fax. I said sure and he explained that although he could get his scanner to work he couldn't get it on to a word document. Helpful as ever a proceeded to show him how to insert the "picture" into the document, and what picture did I have already on but up it came. "1914 The generation that will never die"
He looked and said is that for real? To which I replied Yes this one is from 1964/65 I think They are on the internet freely available. His faced blank over he used the fax and left with no further comment.

by talesin ini remember the olden days of pcs and word processors, back in the late 70's, early 80's .... there was a xerox wp machine i worked on that had a 6"x4" screen, you could only see about 3 lines of type at a time ... i kid you not!
after 3 hours of working on that, my eyes were buggy !!
