After watching father, mother, and brother in-law eaten up by cancer, a friend told me he had cancer and my first words were, "where have you always wanted to go in your life?" Knowing that his health wasn't getting better, and now was the time. He sat and thought, and we talked, and we planned a trip to Hawaii (the large island). We went to the library, looked at travel books, and sat all afternoon and evening talking softly about life (both of ours) and different spots on the island. We never made the trip. That night his family whisked him off to the VA hospital and he soon passed over. Next time, I'll just take the person to the airport and we'll go.

After a "spell" of time in Covington, Louisiana with a witch I began calling myself ShamanMojo and got deep into the occult, as well as spells. I was choked one night by spirits and had to bust through a window (100+ stitches) to get air. I was playing with the band The Voodoo Screamers and was spending much time in Belize with other shaman swirling, dancing, and casting spells, until a few occurred as designed and I realized how far I had gone from the Love of the Christ. A man on this forum Friday sent me a PM and called me an "idiot moron" as well as other things and my first impulse was to send him a PM replete with "you won't walk in the morning and your tongue will palsy and never construct another word." I decided instead to ignore the man. Then I was going to ask his address and offer him a kick boxing session (only 1 would be necessary). Lord forgive me. Czar, I used to send mackerels in the mail, not pig heads. Phone calls in Aramaic casting down evil were a calling card. From experience, it's not the place to go, and I wish I had never ventured into those "zones."

Disassociated myself in 1978 after pioneering, traveled, and returned to meetings/assemblies elsewhere in 1980, then again in 1986, then once more in 1992, and one more time in 2001. Twenty three years of wondering thru all phases of life. Finally, no more doubts. Welcome Barbar.

Goodbye Hair.
by CoolBreeze ini haven't posted in a long time, but i did say i'd pop in every once in a while if i had something of significance to say.
well i thought this was significant enough to share.. a few weeks ago in a moment of altruism i had my hair tested for the "locks of love" program, which is a hair donation program for chemotherapy patients who have lost their hair.
today i received a letter stating that my hair meets all the requirements for donation.

Would you have left if you had it into a position of power?
by GermanXJW ini used to be a ms and stepped aside because i could not stand the wrong teachings (chronology, annointed etc.
) and the high pressure they worked unto people anymore.
when i stepped aside i also stopped going to the meetings and doing field service.. on the other hand, when i was in i was always longing for "privileges".

I remember my last public talk, it was a wedding talk, and at the shindig after the Hall wedding I sat in the hired hall, head in hands, watching the band, the 'Friends', and I knew it was my last talk. My former wife asked why I wasn't participating in the goings on and I said, "its all over." She asked, "does that mean our going to Bethel too?" She was overjoyed and partied up a storm - I cried for days. As cruzenheart stated, "FREEDOM IS WONDERFUL." Especially, the freedom of being a child of God.
