A brawl one Saturday afternoon - hall being built, 2 elders both pissed off at the low turnout, and the CO was coming next week to a hall build that was going piss poor - service was shit, attendance was falling, studies were down, and the hall build was going piss poor (the days before quick builds). The two squared off and the punches flew, they had to be separated for a while. One gave the Public Talk the next day, and the other did the WT. They shook hands after the meeting and all was forgotten, as we did another day of carpentary on the new hall - hell, 1975 was coming.

A man accepts eldership, and now must comply with "Mother" or be found inept, lacking, and desirous of punishment. That "good report" must be provided to refresh the congos in the midst of Babylon, or the "spirital famine" will descend on the Lord's people. Got it?
