I agree about the Jehovah Witness kids being sheltered. Because they are so sheltered they have no real clue on how the world really is. I am glad you have rules for your daughter and that you keep track of her comings and goings and hope and pray for all the children everywhere that someday it will be a safe and peaceful world for all.....

Most witness's don't even look at the pictures in their books.

like the one of the little girl falling into a big crack in the earth, a picture of amagedon from the paradise book.

few witness's stop and ponder just how sick that really is to show kids that at a young age.

if anyone has that post it to this thread for others to see just how hurtful that could be for children of a tender age.

What really angers me is how the Watchtower people are so happy and don't care about God murdering all those innocent people. I can see the reaction from my own daughter. Even when she is with me on my time the Witnesses sure do somehow put their negative thoughts into her. They certainly are good at breaking up families. I hope and pray there are many law suits against them and their fear teachings.

Princess Diana...Conspiracy?

ok i know the tabloids and maybe this one "carrying this scoop" over here in particular these past 2 days, must be sometimes taken with a pinch of salt, but did any of you read the latest stuff about diana and her letter to her butler 10 months before her death in paris....here's an excerpt from her letter penned in oct 1996:-.

... " i am sitting here at my desk today in october, longing for someone to hug me and encourage me to keep strong and hold my head high.

this particular phase in my life is the most dangerous.... (the princess then identifyed where she felt the threat and danger would come)..... is planning "an accident" in my car, break failure and serious head injury in order to make the path clear for charles to marry.

In regards to princess Diana,

From what I saw on 20/20 it sure seems like the Princess was in the way of someone who was quite powerful. Anyway she sure knew something was going to happen to her. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. I believe this time is come when the works of darkness will be known and that Diane is just the tip of the iceburg.

Good afternoon Ignatius,

That was very sad-the story of Christian Longo. There is something about some of the teachings of the Watchtower that seems to make people act like they have no conscious or no soul. Then of course that is what the society teaches us that we have no soul. Christian Longo is also mentioned on http://watchtower.observer.org/ amoung many other murderers. There is also the story of a man called unending heartache where a J.W. killed his two children and X wife. These stories are located at the observer under Jehovah Witness and criminals. Welcome to the forum and may God bless. I will look and see if I can find the latest Longo book.

i feel sad for everyone.. i think about how unique every person is.. i remember good and happy family times together.. my heart aches.. that we are a family at odds.. i wish we lived closer,.

and were really a family.. we understand that your faith is strong.. but we have a different faith.. hostility and discord are so painful.. now the one that fathered us all.. has gone beyond our call.. there is a wedding in the family.. everyone will be there.. all except the paul family in wisconsin.. we need to forget about rules.. also all the regulations,.

and go on as a family, with unconditional love,.

Good morning Prisca,

Thank you for the encouragement. I am sure there are so very many families broken up due to fear of armageddon or hell or other evil. They have their followers so fearful they are afraid to talk to their own families. Reminds me of the story of Joseph where Joseph's brothers conspired to kill him because of his dreams of them doing obeisance to him. They were also jealous because Joseph had the love of their father. As we know it turned out Joseph's dream was correct and God was behind Joseph going to Egypt. I am sure many that have been disfellowshipped or disassociated feel much mental pain even though they can never completely understand unless they have been through loosing a family rember to the Watchtower. I feel God has a purpose in this too as he did in Joseph's case. The story of Joseph brings me hope and comfort.

We who are trapped under shunning laws many times get quite depressed. Sometimes, as we truly love these trapped in a hard and cold and unloving religion suffer very much. When will God bring us back together with our prodical brothers and sisters? May God hurry the day when we are all reunited in love.until then our hearts are broken.

The abomination that causes desolation

does anyone know what daniel the prophet meant when he talked about the abomination that causes desolation?

the book says that when we come to understand what the abomination that causes desolation is to flee to the mountains.

When you begin to understand the abomination that causes desolation you will understand that these teachings of God is angry, God is vergeful, God kills, hell, armageddon,ect sitting in the "Holy Place" you will begin to understand these destructive teachings are in the place where God is supposed to be. One more is everything wrong is always blamed on God. If we would take the time to look through the Concordances we could find out the original scriptures and come to understand that God is unconditional love and that these destructive teachings need to go otherwise how could there be two resurrections-one for the just and one for the unjust. Another good Bible reference is the Lexicon. It gives the scriptures that are referred to. I have done this and have found much comfort in this physical life of much pain-more than anyone could imagine. All the people that have been killed or committed suicide will have another chance on the earth after the one thousand year reign of Jesus who will return with his 10,000 (many many) saints to CONVINCE the UnGodly. Acts 24:15. And he will rule with an iron hand. I looked up rule in the Lexicon and was referred to Revelations 7:17 for the lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and lead them into living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Then "all nations" will be called a "nation under God"
