I'm Back !!!!!!

gosh..................for those who still remember me, i've settled now in dusseldorf, germany with new job and eventually got myself on-line in the evenings!!!

(dont ask it's sooooooooo complicated), i've been able to view the site a few times, but any bullet points from anyone would be great regarding the status of things in the last few months, i can then do a search....................soooooo many newbies, that makes me feel good inside, (know what i mean), accolades abound for you all who continue to fight for the real truth, for anyone who followed my brief attempt to educate my jw family, it went very pear shaped, but hey ho, my battle continues with all your help past and present of course.

hi to all of you who know me, finally settled down in dusseldorf my new home and eventually managed to get back here, waaaay too many posts to look back on maybe pleasuredome/brummie can give me a short breakdown of anything that has happened..........if any of you remember the story of myself and my attempt to show my dub sister the real truth........well came to ahead with my mum and dad over the phone, i'll give you one quote from my father which sums it all up.... he said.

"you (meaning me) don't stand a chance at armageddon".. some years ago, i would have been crushed by that comment, but having found this site and the people here, i am a stronger and better person to deal with it.....so acolades in abundance to you all.

hi all (brummie & pleasuredome), not one to let the grass grow under my feet........secured a new contract this week and gonna be working in germany till end of year, dusseldorf to be more exact........leave tuesday and so excited, i haven't posted much recently due to huge work committments but know i always visit the board to catch up whats happening at the weekends....so if any of you are in de nahe auf dusseldorf let me know and i have rooms for people to bed down in if passing.. jonny seagull.

ps pleasure, sorry i couldn't catch up with you that weekend i was in lisbon to see the red hot chilli's, they rock man!!

well, i gave my hope to be future wife crisis of conscience and in search of christian freedom yesterday.

i told her to take her time and read them with an open mind and to trust her heart.

she told me before that if she had any doubts she would leave the wt.

crisis of conscience

i am not a jw but a very close friend of mine is.we are so close that i have told her that i want to marry her ( if she leaves the org).

i have researched jw's quite a bit in recent months and have realized this book is probably my only chance at reaching her ( i also have isocf ).

she has reluctantly agreed to read them because she trust's me.

Hi Mackey, welcome friend................if I may approach one avenue of thought, you say she's not happy, maybe she's already begining to see the error of the Watchtower Society, this sometimes can be very troublesome and traumatic in itself with regards to JW family etc and the possibilty of being shunned, disfellowshipped etc by the ones she loves. If this is the case, it's not going to be easy.....I firmly believe that some stay with the organisation purly because of the social frabic around them, to lose that would be akin to losing a limb. She needs to be taken slowly but surely, knowing that there are many out here who faced the same dilema at one time or another.........but we've all come throught it, some still suffer more than others, there are many here to give a helping hand. I wish you the very best in your efforts, and do know that we are all here should she need to talk to us, Please keep us posted
