I'll bet this bozo is using his massive ego to compensate for the smallest penis on the planet.
LOL!!! so true!!
we have all read many posts here as to how women felt they had to be submissive in the organization.
how would you like to be a member of first christian fellowship for eternal sovereignty?
ravenna, ohio - a woman pulled over for breast-feeding her baby while driving on the ohio turnpike was shown on videotape at her trial wednesday refusing to cooperate with troopers until she called her husband for permission.. catherine nicole donkers, 29, also would not stand or speak as she defended herself in portage county municipal court until her husband gave her permission from the first row of the audience.. the first day ended with donkers finishing her questioning of the trooper.

poor woman. i genuinely feel sorry for her. sounds like the product of an awful environment.,
i'd like to know what you think of the "all important, life saving preaching work".
even if this preaching was considered a success, it would not be able to save the billions of people on this earth.
recently, my mother told me how she believe that jehovah god is patiently keeping the door open, since every year, new ones come into the "truth".
Of course they'll deny the comparison by claiming that they aren't actually "selling" anything
i remember the days when they WERE selling literature...wasnt it something like 35 cents for a brochure, 10 cents for a tract?? yes, that's a VERY brilliant idea...make people pay for something they already don't want....i barely remember it though, i was quite young when they switched from outright charging to asking for a contribution, which was equally embarrassing.
i got married while i was a jw and have been married for 16 years.
the last 10 years have been totally loveless, and we have merely existed under the same roof, nothing more.
now that i've disassociated myself we have nothing in common at all.
my parents' divorce was like WWIII. It was terrible..my mom didnt get her name taken off the house mortgage and my dad stayed in the house but just didnt pay the rent or mortgage or anything, so my mom's credit was absolutely ruined...not to mention the fact that they both kept going to meetings and there were vicious rumours constantly being spread about the both of them...yuck. it was terrible.
i'm glad you dont have kids.

The door to door work is really a worthless effort
Mayeb it has something to do with the fact that my heart was never in it, but i went out in service until i was sixteen or so and i never had so much as a single return call!

yeah... i do it all the time... sitting at work... but instead of working i'm reading and posting here.. anyone else guilty of this?
i'm at work right now as well. is it my fault i get paid to sit pretty and look busy? ;)
i live in skirts...sans pantyhose, that is...i didnt mind the skirt thing as a JW...what i minded was that i had to wear a dress that covered me up from top to toe...i got in trouble one time for wearing a sleeveless dress to the assembly in the middle of august! ugh and my meeting dressed were always downright ugly so as not to encourage vanity...frilly and floral-patterned...i looked like an eighties nightmare. these days i opt for short and cute and i'm perfectly comfortable. :)
...soooo, i take it you guys arent voting for Gallagher? :P i LOVE that we could have arnold as governor. all political agenda aside...it's just cool! ;)
if life experiences can change people's heart conditons, how can god ever succeed in timing armageddon where everyone has had an equal fair shot to prove their real heart condition?
I read the topic as Tiny Armageddon Fairy
i did the exact same thing!! i thought this topic was going to be about me!! (does that make me a megalomaniac?)
;) ~~ tink
