tattoos...did you rebel and get one?
by morty inafter i left the "troof" the first thing i did was run out and get a tattoo.now ,some 18 years later i still dont regret it.i even have gotten a couple of new ones in the past couple of years......i mean not that i am covered in them, but i think if a women has them ,there is nothing wrong with that has long as they are not all over everywhere.ie...neck,face or lower arms......... i just think it is sexy on a man..( a few....not on the same areas as the women ..ie..face and neck as well.
) but for a women to have them all over her is not attractive....i think for a women to have a couple in a suddle place..( like for your partner to see or find.lol) is sexy as well...this girl in our town, has them covering her face and arms.i just think she looks scary......(i do also think that they must be done professionally and kept realistic.
)...i know your not to judge a book by its cover but, this girl wonders why, parents will not let children to her house to play with her child?

i got one but i didnt consider it a rebellion of any kind. tattoos are so commonplace now that its hard to feel rebellious getting one. i just love how tattooed skin looks, and i think theyre beautiful. :)

Our Heroes--past and present
by Vita Nuova ini really hope to get a ton of responses for this topic, so even if you're just browsing through postings and topics, please add your two cents...however brief.
i am really curious to know who our "heroes" are, those people we admire, identify with, emulate and recieve inspiration from.
feel free to even list former heroes and perhaps why you were taken with admiration for them at that point in your life and maybe why you don't feel that way any longer.

People You Meet At The Grocery Store
by DakotaRed inhere it is 11 pm and i just returned from safeway where i went for a few quick items at 10. safeway is only a few blocks from my house.
as i was looking at the meat counter for some good bargains, being the cheap dude i am, as well as broke, a not unattractive blonde lady walks up to me and starts in complaining about the cost of granola, saying there is no way in hell she will pay $3 for a granola bar.
now, i have heard of women who go to stores late at night to get picked up by guys and quite honestly, always thought it was bs.

oh, man, that is really sad. if i ever get to the point where my drunk ass ends up at a grocery store trolling for men, i need to be taken out to a quiet field and put out of my misery.
seriously, though, what is it about grocery stores? i swear, i have undergone the lamest pickup attempts in history while waiting in line buying groceries.

What's your biggest phobia?
by luna inspiders!!!
i can handle any other bug, snakes, mice, etc....but get me near a spider, and i nearly have a breakdown.. this morning, i went to grab some clothes from the bathroom to wash, felt something crawling on my arm, looked down, giant, hairy, brown spider.
i still have the heebie-jeebies, and i probably woke up the neighbors.. *shudder*.
