Truthsearcher that was nice. Who was that country artist that sang the song "I Love a Rainy Day"? It was back in the late seventies.
I like the way nature does her thing when she don't do severe damage to the earth and humans..Rain is essential to the balance of nature. I like taking a walk in the rain when it is not windy and heavy. I like watching the birds fly in the rain.
Things to do on a rainy day, stay home from work if you can, look out the window and hold hands with a good drink in your hands, coffee, tea, beer, wine, etc, read a book, play cards, watch a movie, be romantic

So now we are supposed to be in fear that when we speak our minds we need to be careful that we don't offend anyone, the Watchtower, you, including God or else their will be punishment handed out. Punishment like all kinds of sicknesses, all types of dieases, sufferings, growing old and incapatitated and finally death. And this happens to those who try to live a good a life.
Why is there to be a sobering reminder of what we do and say on this site? What else can we be punished for that has not already been done by God or other humans? We live in fear of ,do it my way or else. I command you to love me, I command you to love others. A command to do something is imposed upon you or else you will pay the price of disobeying that command.
Yes, be very afraid, be very afraid. Watch what you say and print, you are being recorded. It will come back to bite you in the ass. Well start biting, death is on the way no matter what you say or print. Threaths don't work anymore. Stop trying to control me.

Ouija Board. A few years ago one of my family members and I tried the Ouija Board after a few drinks. We asked it two questions and the pointer moved and answered us in a positive way. We asked each other if we were moving the pointer and we answered no. We could feel the force of the pointer moving our hands. We stopped immeadiately as we got scared, we haven't used it since. We don't know what to make of the experience.We were not drunk. I know that the ouija Board has been debunked by Penn and Teller and others, so, I don't have an answer to this experience.Do you know of any?

by minimus ini recently saw my jw brother and sil and listened to them talk about poor sister sick(o) who has been diagnosed with major mental problems.
she went to the doctor's and the doctor supposedly began to berate her out of the blue because she is a jehovah's witness.
now the family wants to have the doctor formally rebuked for his so called "discriminatory comments".

Actually I think that what holds them together is the belief that they will live forever on a paradise earth. Some diehards are clinging to this very hope that today, next week, next month ,this year, next year, soon, very soon, close at hand, it's really coming now etc. "CARROT"
No matter how many changes in doctrines and or teachings, they are disillusioned and believe life everlasting is on the way. So, they hang on, hoping that today is the start of that day.
Not all believe it and are hanging around because of family.
Yes, they have lost their purpose and still hope beyond hope that it just might happen in their life time.

My mom just called
by Elsewhere inmy biological family has been shunning me ever since i daed back in 1998.. my mom opened by saying that she's been thinking about me lately and then we chatted a bit to catch up on news.
i told her about my toilet training my two cats, my recent nose surgery, my running and how things are going well at work.
she told me about how my dad had a medical issue come up in july and how it was treated.. normally my biological family will only contact me when someone dies.

Hi Else! She told you about your dad's medical issue. She is concerned about his health and wants you to be prepared for any future medical issues that might come up with your dad. Have you spoken with your dad lately? Is she looking to you for comfort? She may want you to come and visit your dad, using the health concerns as a basis for it, before anything unexpectedly should happen health wise in the near future.This may be the beginning of a coming together. I wish and hope the best for you and family.
