sounds like the situation for many of us here with our families still in jw land.

The GB don't want you to know that the God of the Bible will give things away for free. They want you to think you don't deserve it even if it is given; your just a slacker that hasten given enough yet. Jehovah's witnesses are a works based religion. And they want you to work your you know what off and when you don't have anything more to give they want you to feel guilty.

Oh, and remember, any scripture that you highlight about this subject only applies to the future Kings and Priests of the heavenly kingdom, it does not apply to you, because although you may partake of the emblems, your just mentally unbalanced.

Lisa Rose, Have you tried streaming Netflix movies yet? I bought a new BlueRay player and it has Netflix and many other internet options. The Sony has it's own wireless internet so you don't even have to plug it in. I'm impressed.

I've only had it a week, but I've enjoyed watching some of the Jesse Stone (Tom Selleck) shows and also the Netflix original House of Cards with Kevin Spacey.

Well Jon Preston, Thank you, you obviously know some good stuff.

I can appreciate your dilemma. I don't have patients to worry about, but I operate a 260' tower crane 60+ hours a week. Saturdays are easy, just eight hours starting at 6:00 a.m. We are monitored with drug/alcohol test and aberrant behavior standards when necessary.

I will have to say that I bought some Moonshine from the liquor store just to see what the locals have here and I can't drink it. It is strong and medicinal tasting. I was given a Mason Jar of it a while back at the job site and it was better, but it was diluted.

ATMs in assembly halls

i only heard about these atms last year on this forum.

the poster seemed to be saying they are for donating only, is that correct?

absolutely gobsmacked over this, don't the brothers see any correlation between this and the likes of jimmy swaggart?

I'm just waiting for them to make an app that will let witnesses just take a picture of their credit cards and fill in the donation. Oh, why take a photo, just fill in the number. OH, they already have that in Europe.. Sorrrrry.

I think I will just take a photo of a one dollar bill and email it to the GB and let them know that they need to rely upon Jehover.
