I'm sure it's been done here before, but a very funny post by Blondie spurred this thought.
Blondie was saying how one dub would put WT and Awake magazines in the rear car window and count time driving too and fro... LOL!!!
I was the master of the "dropping WT mags in the laundry mat" to "start your time" trick.

I lost my job at Microsoft today...thanks to a wonderful economy...
by dolphman infor the last few years, many of my friends have lost their jobs and have not found suitable replacements.
most are on unemployment, and those whose unemployment has run out are simply eeking out some meager existence doing something they don't like, that doesn't pay well, and doesn't help to really reduce the stress they face every day.. well, to be honest, i used to laugh my ass off at them.
ha ha ha i would say.

But to play devil's advocate for a moment. And again, appologies to Dolph for the following state opinions. Don't mean to hijack your thread...
But the economy is getting better and consumers smarter.
The same money is getting float'ed around. It's just going to somewhere else.
People make better product. Improve old ones and give better service than their status quo.
This drives the market. And we win by getting better service and better products.
Imagine if the Japanese never made cars. Here, you (not you, but figuratively), but you complain already about how bad American cars are. Toyota was the best thing to ever happen to Michigan.
It makes them work harder than to feed us the crap they gave us before the Japanese stormed the market.
Since when was supply and demand a bad thing. -

I CONFRONTED THE ENTIRE CONGREGATION TODAY
by Corvin intoday, i was on the scene of the local congregation of jw's where my ex-wife and her husband attend.
physical, emotional and mental abuse has been purpetrated upon my kids for eight years now.
they have been victims of alcoholism, verbal bashings and they have been made to watch their stepfather beat the hell out of their mother and then be halled off to jail without saying a word to anyone for fear fo reprisal from him and their mother.

This post of yours really struck home.
When I was getting divorced, they did the SAME THING to me.
Don't want to get into it here, but in a nutshell...
I tried in vain to talk to someone who would listen.
One of the last times, I told them... "I don't care if I have to show my ASS here and shout it out."
So one of the elders says, "Whoa... I'm offended by that language. It's worldly." (because I said ASS.)
Then I told him. "SEE, don't you see how far off you are??? It's straining the gnat and gulping the camel."
I said, "You make such a big deal about using the word ASS, but a marriage of 10 years, ALL of which was spent pioneering is falling apart because or your "OURWARD APPEARANCE" rules."
In other words, WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT!!!!!
GAWD!!!!!! Corvin, your posts PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH. Brings back such bad memories.

When You are Sick

Simple,
Wedding Soup (full name: Italian Wedding Soup) is much like Chicken Noodle Soup.
It has a chicken-type broth and has small pasta balls, small meatballs and I think spinnach.
In my opinion, Chicken Noodle (or brothy soups) really work because:
a) It rehydrates you. (with the salt and all that)
b) Some of the spices like garlic and pepper cleans out your system.
I haven't been sink in over two years every since I started this routine of eating soup and salad for lunch.
EVERY DAY!!!
I mostly do it, because I like having a light lunch that doesn't weigh me down.
But besides the salad, I feel the soup keeps me healthy by rehydrates me good and I like the black pepper because of the taste. But I think it also keeps my sinus' clear.

favourite games to play as a child during boring meetings
by Surfacing inmy parents were both very strict, and i wasn't allowed any toys at the hall.
my rations included a copy of my book of bible stories, and a pen and note pad.
my parents were strict to the point of not allowing me to draw pictures, i had to "take notes".
