  I need to get my husband some help...

  my husband has an ugly temper.

  it rears it's ugly head rarely (well used to be rarely) and now it pops up mostly when my oldest boy messes up.

  it's so bad that anyone seeing it would call it abuse.

  ((Mrsjones5)) I understand and can relate to a point, my husband can also have a horrible temper- almost like a switch flips.. One day he was in "a Mood" (you can almost sense a weird aura around him) and I made a sarcastic comment and ended up with a cordless drill thrown at me.. I left for a few days, I came back and we talked about the issue, he 100% understands and knows he has a problem and does do what he can to control it.. We believe, seriously, that it is a chemical imbalance in his brain ( his mom and brother also have that same switch temper ) He actually smokes marijuana, and that helps to control the switch- prescription meds always seemed to have some sort of jacked up side effect- way hyper, way down, doesn't feel right... Not saying go buy a bag and tell your husband "here, smoke this, eat this" :) I hope he is willing to address the problem for you and your son.. PS- if this is all crazy in one paragraph, I'm sorry-- FireFox user and didn't read up on how to format before...

  we had a knock on our door this morning, as we were having breakfast.

  i opened the door thinking it was the neighbor, because today is his wife's suprise birthday party.

  i was suprised to see two young men carrying bookbags.

  Sometimes living in a small town has it's perks ......

  i complain sometimes that it is annoying living in this small town of 6,000 because i am always running into (not over) my former witness "friends".

  but there are perks too : yesterday my microwave stopped working , so i called the local downtown maytag dealer .

  he promises to make a house call later in the afternoon to check it over .

  My small town is about 3300 people, my husband's registration on his vehicle was expired (WAY EXPIRED) He finally gets pulled over for it one morning on his way to a meeting, he told the police officer that he knew, he was sorry and he was in a bit of a hurry, so the officer got the VIN and told him he would just drop the ticket off at our house I was home and the officer actually apologized to me for having to write the ticket but we were past the deadline for just getting a warning-

  I think we got the "phantom knock" yesterday- We were going out and our front porch door wasn't latched shut, (I'm anal that it latches, so our cats don't get outside). Did a quick check for the cats, they were all there- and then I saw it.. laying on the porch floor..I'm thinking phantom knock, because our dog never barked (which she does the second somebody knocks). Heck- if they really didn't want to talk to anybody, they didn't have to walk into the porch- it would have been easier to throw it through the mail slot, that's right next to the dang door..Lucky the cats were all there- or I would have had to go to the hall today instead of getting ready for Trick or Treating :)

  What is your town or area's claim to fame?

  every where you live, the local area has something about it that is either famous for something good or something bad.

  as an example, you go to one town and it may have the historial site of a famous war battle.

  you go to another an it might be the place something was invented, or the birthplace of someone famous.

  Looks like a Burmese Python to me.

  It has/had the same type of markings that my burmese had (he wasn't nearly as big) -

  Never ate a sheep, only jumbo rats.

  What is the best question to ask a j.w. during a Bible study?

  last year, i dropped by my daughter and son -in-laws' house just when they were having a bible study, and i was invited to "sit in" on it, and be an observer.

  i didn't ask any questions, because i was not prepared for this event, so i "behaved' and just listened.

  if i would find myself in this predicament again in the future, i wonder what question i would bring up that they would have difficulty answering, to show how the watchtower lies to new converts and worldly people when teaching them?

  When I was studying (never baptized) we were studying the blood chapter I asked if organ transplants were ok (this was way before I even went on the internet to these "apostate sites") and I got the "the conscience decision answer", I then asked, "but how can an organ be accepted in good conscience because wouldn't there be blood products from the donor in that organ, such as liver, lung, heart? I cant' imagine ALL the blood being sucked out.." I'm not a med student so I have absolutely NO idea what happens during a transplant.. The eyebrows raised, I watched the 2 look at each with the deer in the headlights look and was told they'd have to research publications and speak to others and get back to me... Never did get an answer on that one...

  Need your opinion on JW teaching

  next week i'm going to speak with a large group of people about the jehovah's witnesses and one or two of their teachings.

  i don't have time to discuss all of their bizarre beliefs so i'd like to ask your opinions on which subjects to use.

  what would you consider to be the one most outrageous teachings of the watchtower you would chose?

  i was told that ( by the husband) that child molesting is brought up often at the meeting and how it is up to the family if the police should be notified.

  now i know it is not favored to call the police but has anyone heard these talks on molesting at the meetings?

  anything about molestings?.
