I've always known there is a 2 tier system withn the Org, The elitists and R&F, My question is...Why don't brothers want to go to the assemblies on Friday, or why would they rather spend time in leisure activities or why do many seek out a better education and ignore the Borg? Could it be that the fine spiritual food is rancid? Could it be that the flock is getting tired of being abused and led by blind guides? Seems to me that the GB should look at themselves first for the solution to these problems.

by Honesty ini just have to comment about the canned wtbts music on cd the local congregations play on $150 cd players through $20 speakers set in the foamboard ceilings at their sales meetings worship services.
what a joke the music is that they use to sing praises.
the lyrics remind me of a high school pep rally with all the emphasis on 'we're joe hoba's witnesses and yada-yada-yah preaching from door to door and from house to house' or 'life everlasting in the pair-o-dice' crap that just tickles the dubbies ears so much they get all pretty and pink.

When I was a kid growing up and going to school in England, every morning, at school there would be hymns sung and prayers too. Of course yours truely wasn't allowed to participate so I had to wait outside but I could hear the songs and to be honest I liked them and often wished that I could join in. I loved Jerusalem and Onward Christian Soldiers...they were so stirring, unlike the monotone junk at the KH. Its amazing how many hymns I seem to have picked up this way and I still enjoy them today.

Being a JW mother, I really don't understand how these women do it.
by Dragonlady76 inwhile reading through some threads, i sometimes wonder what my life would have been like if i had stayed a jw and had kids.
i now have a 23 month old son, that's very active, i can not begin to imagine what torture it would be for both of us to attend meetings or go out in field service.
i would be expected to keep him still the whole time without toys, snacks, books or any sort of distraction at all, except maybe the my book of bible stories.

Why does the Borg make it hard for mothers and young kids...? Why dont they have special activities and areas for kids so that they would maybe want, and look forward to going to meetings and assemblies?

all of these title make it sound as if the world in general will oneday experience these things and not to worry.. the fact of the matter is.....jehovah's witnesses don't believe this at all.
