Need some advice...For my kids
by Jon Preston insince being out mentally and missing meetings my children mention people from the hall and i cant help but feel bad that they are missing the association.
my daughters are 4 and 2 and we live in a small town with not a whole lot to do.
what activities did you do with your kids?

Hi Jon,
Such good comments! Growing things in the garden is a good thing to do with the kids. Teaches about nature and patience. The reward is a good veggie that they will want to try because they grew it!
Bubbles are fun.
Kites make memories
Goldfish are fun and cheap. Add a little swimmy to your family.
TAKE PICTURES!
Spend some time helping others with you children in tow. It will show them loving kindness in action and help you widen out in your friendships. Are there lonely elderly people that may like little children around? An extra set of grandparents always come in handy.
God bless! 4th gen

A call to action, women, religion, violence and power. by jimmy carter. I heard several interviews with him on this book. He made some interesting and forceful points. Hopefully it will shed more light on abuses of women through religion.

Male-dominated religions oppress women, Jimmy Carter says
by AndersonsInfo inhttp://www.clarionledger.com/viewart/20140328/feat04/303280035/religion-briefs-male-dominated-religions-religious-rights-jesus-crown-thornes-.
jimmy carter byline male-dominated religions oppress women, carter saysatlanta former president jimmy carter says male-dominated religions contribute to the oppression and abuse of women by twisting sacred texts to portray females as inferior to men in the eyes of god.. the 89-year-old carter makes that argument in his new book, a call to action: women, religion, violence and power.. in an interview broadcast on nbcs meet the press, the former president faulted his former denomination, the southern baptist convention, and the roman catholic church for denying women the same opportunities as men to serve as pastors and priests.. carter said some married men who belong to those churches conclude that their wives are inferior.. the catholic catechism and the 2000 baptist faith and message declare that men and women have different roles but are equal in the eyes of god..

Is anyone else completely astonished that they're drawing attention to 1914/2014 - 100 years
by jambon1 ini note that they're making reference to this in the upcoming convention programme.
someone has has dropped a bollock here, have they not?.
i mean, if i were a jw, i'd be sitting thinking of all the promises made and broken.

jdubs will accept whatever is taught. They will publically ignore the disquieting thoughts we know as congitive dissonance. Yet in the back of their minds they know they were duped.

Thucydides said: “The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.”
Let's hope he comes here....Even the bravest need support and comfort.

Since learning TTATT and leaving, Saturday mornings are a real blessing, as they probably are for many of you. Slow moving, mellow music, strong coffee, recliner sitting ….. a true respite to a busy week. Part of my Saturday slow-down is to catch up on this site and have a few chuckles with my friends here along the way.
This post caught my eye…. Well, even though I’ve been away for a while, this got my blood boiling! They are ‘SPINING” a failed prophesy into a triumph! It shouldn’t have surprised me at all, as the lies are getting bigger and bigger. But it is so bizarre; I had to make sure the program was real. It read like something that could be posted as a spoof, you know just for sh**s and giggles. But it’s TRUE!
Although as Christians we endeavor to love and show mercy, I cannot help but wish vengeance against them. When will they get their total comeuppance?

Memorial season? Boost attendance/donations? Also April is close.....get some easy time calling on inactive ones and some gossip along the way. After all, 30 hours go terribly slow sitting at a mag stand!
