all right folks... the number one most important thing about a person is?
you guessed it, what kind of music they listen to.
so list your top ten bands/artists in no particular order.

for those who are newly out, and especially for those raised in it, they have a huge task in dealing with all the effects of the abuse.
they have little or no "self" to build on from a pre-existing self.
many need to start from scratch and discover things about themselves and learn about how to make good decisions versus being told what to do or asking an elder.

Lady Lee,
I loved your analogy, interesting concept.
I've decided I am going to work with collages in my recovery. You can use pieces of anything when
you make them. I 've done so in the past and they are kind of like puzzles.
Thanks for your post!

friends,.
in perusing the postings here in the "friends" section, i notice how many of us are still hashing over and rehashing the evils of the organization we were a part of, and how it hurt us, etc.
i got kinda down reading it.

dear friends:.
what a pleasure it has been to browse this website over the past couple of years...first as a lurker and then as a member.
i now intend to "come out of the closet"...blow my cover and tell you my story (and i'm sticking to it!).
Welcome HadEnuf!

Odrade,
I saw it, and I found it fascinating how the computer's image looked so much like the bust of her. I like shows on
mummys and I watch a lot of them. You can learn so much about history from them.

that's right....recommend a book...any book that would be a good read....... mine's is:.
invisible man by ralph ellison
I recently read To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee , for the second time.
I was reminded after reading the book, that one should not think they know a person or understand what someone is going though, until they have walked a mile in their shoes. It is a great classic and I love the movie too!

i got a call from a lady i worked with 48 years ago.
this was when i first went to work when my dad died.
i was the same age as her son, 18 at the time and she knew my mother's mom and dad, she lived near them back when i was a little kid.
Undecided,
Have fun!!!
