I recall another UK member saying they liked the C.O. Alastair Campbell. He died yesterday. Can't say I liked him that much. He was like some old headmaster from the 50's, ready to belt anyone and boy could he go on about Brazil. He took my pioneer school. But I did like his wife Kate, who was a bit of an artist, and I'm sorry for her now as she's stuck out in the country and can't drive.

Been asking around about William and Anne Heath. Don't know where they are but no news of defection and that would surely have the jungle drums beating.

Did you know that David.. (Robert Morely look-a-like) got remarried last year to a girl 30 years his junior? Can't have been for her looks. Or personality come to think of it.

What about Bob Oldrey the money obsessed Londoner, or Clive Pitman who infuriated everyone by shortening their names, or Ian Shanks with his wig-like hair and perma-tan - he was a bit like Bob Down.

Ron Drage (Don Rage) now on Branch Committee - arch-pharisee with false american/canadian accent - pain in the neck with no thought for anyone but himself

David Barber (wife June) arrogant bully

John Blaney - dead now - stark staring mad - householder would close door - he went round the back and hammered on the back door or shouted through the letterbox - a complete loony.

Never a visit went by without distress, grief, stress and depression for all elders / servants. What a way to run a business! If these are the crack troops then they are doomed.

Name some more and the WT spies can work out were I live!

We had this moron in the 80's named David Gibson. He was the biggest pile of crap to ever come through our city, but he was responsible for making me take a good look at the whole JW thing. I guess I can thank him for that, but I'd still kick the s**t out of him if I ever crossed paths again.

We had another idiot that looked like Labeau on Hogan's Heros (remember him, the short French guy). This guy created a list of money hungry people in the circuit. This was his criteria: married sisters that worked, and single brothers that worked full time. He carried this list around with him, and used it to hold back people from appointments (like MS).

Hey Stan, Remember that scruffy old coot who actually appointed us Ministerial slaves? I think his name was Crawford. He had only one oversized suit that he wore all the time, looked like droopy drawers, like he just crapped himself. Also there was this other dude, Richard Moosears or something like that, from what you told me though he had some hot sisters. Geddy

    Hi Geddy,

How was Mexico? Too short a visit, I'm sure. The ham was good, sorry you missed out!! We'll do it again next year.

I forgot about that Crawford guy. Wasn't he a second runner-up or something when Gibson was de-throned? What was Labeau's real name? I've been trying to remember, but it's just not coming to me.

Remember that mean old guy who yelled at people from the stage for going to the bathroom during assembly sessions? I think his name was Doug Held. Remember when VanMack got up right after that lecture, and the old loser stopped dead and just stared at him while he left? That was hilarious!! And didn't VanMack get up because his mother was having some major health crisis and he had to get help or something? I'm sure if that old fart had a heart, he must have felt like a jackass after.

    I don't remember any CO's after Crawford. I guess I wasn't too concerned during the 90's.

Wow, This is an older thread, but after reading through it I noticed someone asked about Wes Cheatham. I remember him, but not as a CO. Bu the time I met him, he and his wife were in our congregation in the SW. They were really nice to me and my family. I don't recall that much about them except that. Which probably is good.

We had a brother Nickols CO and if I recall, he looked like that one guy in Princess bride. He would say things in his talk and I as a kid could hardly contain myself. I kept hearing him in my head say lines from the movie. Cool enough I guess.

Then the one I remember the most was a brother Wheeler. (sp) HE took a group of us all hiking and truly that was more impressive than a talk to me at that age. We climbed a mountain and I was pretty dang proud of myself. HE bothered talking to us kids and did not act superior.

The things I remember about them were not that deep, but as a kid, someone not talking down was a rare treat. Animation from Nickols was pretty darn refreshing and Wes and his wife were pretty cool. They were older and I have often wondered how they are.
