You guys did a great job of just blowing this info off!!! We have an attorney, who had all the INSIDE information on higher level Mason's and stuff they did in this particular case and no seems to even care about the abused kids!
I wonder what it might take to convince some of you that bad things do happen, perpetrated by bad people in bad cults?

What is your f***ing point? How am I supposed to respond to this? Why am I (or anyone else) supposed to respond to this? This is a f****ing fluff thread, meant to be ironic, or at least sarcastic.
There are abused kids all over the place, cult or no cult. You don't have to convince me that "bad things do happen, perpetrated by bad people in bad cults". I know from f***ing experience buddy.
Daystar...what is your point? I wasn't talking to you in particular...I'm sorry for anything you have suffered at anyone's hands. What I was trying to point out is that others have suffered from the Masonic cult and I don't think it should be glossed over or taken lightly. I wonder how posters would feel if the abuse situation was not believed as far as the JW's go? (Well, we already know how that goes over on this Board!) Personally, I know that a lot of the rank and file JW's are good people, but it's with the "Higher Ups" that the real problems begin. In any organization, things usually start at the top and that appears to be the situation with the Masons as well. It just seems to me that if anyone says anything bad about the Mason's it's offensive...everybody here knows one...and they are good people....they would never do any of the stuff that is being said about them...

Sorry I went a bit ballistic there. We were all having a little fun in the thread. Someone came in with a "Masons sexually abuse children" post which barely gets commented upon. And then you accuse people of ignoring the issue. Rather than hijacking a fun thread, why don't you start a new one that is rather more on topic?
Wait a second... What do Masons have to do with Jehovah's Witnesses really anyway? Well, I think that is what this thread was poking fun at to begin with. It's called satire, I believe.

Precisely the way it is with one of those made-up Societies called Watchtower Bible Tract [ Society ]. Anyone who does indepth research on the workings of this book publishing Society of Men, sees it as a fraud/ front. For what? Don't know that. Yet!
Yes indeed, how they do lose their power once one discovers too, just how fraudulant and deceptive they have been, and will continue to be, if not stopped.

I was going to say the same thing, just about. Reading the naysayers is so reminescent of how jws were/ are when it comes/ came to the truth about their beloved organization. It takes tons of reading and research to get to the truth of matters. Freemasonry is no different in regards to how any SOCIETY within our society operates. Their ARE secrets.
How easy one forgets how much it took to convince them that their precious religion was a fraud/ front. Why is so easy to dismiss Masonry as a cult, just like we once did so we we labeled the WTBTS JW a cult(ure)?

My comments are that I've concluded, for myself, that nothing of this world is as it appears. And as each day goes by, more lies will be told and more truth will be uncovered. But, it WILL always be that way. Why? Because everything as we know, was BASED on lies. It's simple.

Do you mean some posters are masons? the word "infiltration" seems to suggest some big deal about masons, and implies we are something to be infiltrated.
I have only known two masons quite well. They usually brag about it, especially as they rise through the ranks. These ones are not very secretive & seem to need & enjoy the status, a bit like the JW hierarchy.
I know of others, work colleagues who I believe are masons but keep it quiet, I presume so they can somehow gain or offer advantage for selves or other members.
