I don't like reading apologist material about any religion in general not just JWs, but I made my decision and I don't need someone else to agree with me to feel validated.

I will never stop serving Jehovah as I was taught through his Org.

Don't forget, that if you leave the jw's your not necessarily leaving God.

To the others, I'd be careful about trying to "figure" people out, saying this person made this amount of posts and posts here, so clearly this person must be an ex-jw or a troll etc.

What? is there more than one God?

Christians serve the one and only God, our Father the God from the bible God is good

To be fair though Evanesence the bible does say there are many gods and many lords (but just the one true god etc). I think defd sees the mainstream christianity's use of god and lord instead of jehovah to be an indication of it being a separate deity. Though I personally think that's a linguistic thing not a concept thing..but then again Im an unrepentant atheist so it's all semantics anyway as far as Im concerned.

Personally we are all entitled to our beliefs and Defd is entitled to his; his views are welcome on this board for the purposes of debate and are open to scrutiny; just like all our views and beliefs. He has a place here either as a JW or not and I dont care which to be honest.

Glad to have him around to be honest...makes a refreshing change sometimes.

Too much factual information is presented here. If someone sticks around here that long to try and defend mother, there is no way to keep a closed mind for too long.

He has defended in vain anyway. I have followed his postings and replies from time to time. [Frankly I have become nauseated at his clear lack of loyalty to what he professes] He cannot defend what he says he believes - he just does the hit and run, on to the next.

It seems to be his way of getting glory - he likes the attention. I would say his roots are terribly shallow, otherwise he could not stay here for as long as he has.

As far as his personal decision to stay a JW or not. His decision! He is on the fence anyway - his loyalty would be in question whatever way he jumps off of it!
