Congratulations and welcome Jojo!! I can totally relate to that stunned feeling, but one day you'll look back on this time as the beginning of your living. It won't be easy at times.

A practical suggestion that you should start on straight away: start making non-JW friends... in the gym, t work, neighbours, common hobbies.... the potential is everywhere. It will ease the transition if not your *whole* social life is caught up in the organisation.

Right now that I feel like I'm unpluged from "mother" I see things VERY differently...which scares me since i'm in too deep in a way

There are others here who have been or still are "in too deep." I trust you will find much help here to do whatever you need to do to and eventually free yourself completely.
