BS- I think its really a sad thing that you are using this forum to spread hatred. You need to get out more, join things and learn that this kind of behavior on your part is not ok . I think it is sad to let someone with your thoughts upset people. Maybe that is your goal on this board. Your advice to the writer with the 14 year old will just make that child leave home or even worse. I looked up your profile and saw a lot of your posts are on this subject. Makes me wonder...................................... To the people reading these horrible posts, DON'T TAKE IT TO HEART AND REMEMBER, EVERY PERSON HAS ONE, SOME PEOPLE ARE ONE!
My 14-year-old has a same sex attraction.....

Well they did this test on males. They hooked up their nethers to these test wires, and then they flashed porno in front of them. The ones that were the most homophobic, quite interestingly enough, in many cases were the quickest to show a "reaction" to the gay porn.
Just sayin....

Yeah, it always seemed to me that the people that protested the most......
When I was young I used to hang out at this Gay dance club, (I know some of you will make assumptions about me just from this, I've already gotten pm's deriding me for defending gays and asking if I'm gay because I don't have a "problem" with what they do, go ahead and assume away, I have better things to than explain myself to folks) So there I am, and in walks this big, football playing, fag bashing, huntin', shootin' redneck I'd gone to high school with.
And so I said, hey, uhh "Steve" what are you doin? This is'nt a place I'd expect to see you? And he says, "Well, where else is there for a young gay man to hang out?"You could have knocked me over with a feather. This scenario, with minor changes happened to me at LEAST five or six more times.

Sorry, I havent read the whole thread.
At 14 I had a crush on a girl. I think it was just an excess of hormones, because I definately am not gay, and never experimented.
It might not mean she is going to end up gay. Also sexual feelings at 14 doesnt necessarily mean sex at 14. I guess you need to have the 'talk' with her, but dont worry too much about where she is directing her feelings.

Remember that even if she ends up a lesbian that she needs love from you. That will be the best thing you can do for her.

Just an update.....the evening after I posted this and digested all the responses (and that was alot to digest! LOL) I was trying to think of a way to approach a talk with my daughter.
I didn't need to, as she called me into her room because of a 'dilema' she had....she said she had two people she liked and who liked her and didn't know what to do. I asked who they were and she hesitated, so I said I think I know one of the.....and said XXXXX. She said yes that she was one of them and that she thought I might have known this. The other was a boy here in town.
We had a great talk and she was glad she brought it up. I told her I'd already talked with her dad and step-dad.....and she was worried how they would react, but felt good that we all didn't go balistic on her.
The main gist of my talk with her was my concern regarding her age. We had a serious discussion about all kinds of things and I think things are cool.
Her next blog entry said she have a new boyfriend, so I guess she made her choice (at least for this week..........)
Thank you all for all your thoughts and support.....it is appreciated.

I remember my crushes changing from week to the next. One week I thought I'd DIE of I didn't marry John. The next week I thought I'd DIE if Russell asked me out. LOL!
I'm glad things went so smoothly with your daughter. I know it was a scary thing to confront and discuss, but it seems like you're doing a fabulous job!
