Bebu, I'm so sorry you lost your Mom a year ago today.

I wish I could be there with my wife to give all of you a big hug in person.

I've often touched photos of my mum in hope of a response too. Now when I do this, I keep the image in my mind, close my eyes and there she is, speaking in my heart.

It's not easy feeling all this pain but I know its part of healing. Hold on.

What a beautiful family she created. You pass on her heritage very well.

Thank you. Time heals wounds, but somethings (particular lotions, songs, pictures) still trigger sorrow. I often realized back then how, after one year, all I would have is the memories of the warmth of her hands.

My family had a reunion this past weekend. (Just for this year, not every year.) Sharing memories and eating lasagna. Some flowers and singing too, graveside. We're healing together.

My dad says that he has been getting interest from several widows. He told one of the more aggressive ones last summer, "X, we'll always be friends. But frankly, you and me just ain't a-gonna happen!" LOL Dad's not ready to rush into another relationship. Besides, my dad knows that any new wife would have to be compatible with 20+ other people. Whoever can do that will be very special. We know that dad's a good judge of character, though, so nobody's worried for him.

First of all Bebu, you have my sincerest condalances. Time certainly travel fast. Your eulogy was wonderful.

There will always be days when little things will remind you of your dear mom, like you said, a song or lotion.

It brings back memories of my wonderful dear departed Grandma, and although it has been nearly 15 years I think of her everyday, I think of her when i am in Church or singing a praticular song, but most of all the fragrance of Lavendar will always keep my heart smiling and remembering the smell of frest linens and sheets on the bed all with lavendar scent. Each time I smell it it brings back a flood of memories that I would change for anything in this world.

Keep strong and know that you are deeply love and yes your mom and grandma are with you daily. As i know that to be so with my own grandma.
