I never prepared for the SM/TMS. I usually prepared as much as I could for the BS, there were not that many in the groups I attended, so you had to answer atleast a few times. It was usually pretty easy to read a paragraph or two ahead and prepare something. The WT was hit and miss, I usually underlined a few key words here and there, just so those looking could see it was studied. Why should we have to study the material twice?

I just look at the School Schedule and TMS Schedule... That is the most I prepare.
What could be worse then sitting thru the meetings then having to prepare for them beforehand?
I used to get in trouble for finishing the underlining too quickly so I learned to prepare in my room, finish it in 3 minutes and read a good book.

Most of the time, I was unprepared.
I would feel like a failure if I hadn't had my wt underlined.
The book study was probably my favorite meeting, so I always read the pages beforehand.
In four years, I've only had two copies of the KM. Needless to say that was never looked at.
I just didn't like having to read something, only to re-read it again aloud & at a much slower pace.
Used to...I still do it. I prepare my parts though so I wont sound like a blathering idiot spewing forth their corrupt doctrines.
Used to do it....then as I slowly was being unplugged I stopped.Why take notes when I was'nt into it anymore?

Mom usually made me and my bro underline the answers, I used a big highlighter so I looked more prepared than I was, usually took 10 mins at the most, I would pick one or two paragraphs to answer ahead of time and the rest of the meeting I would doodle on the pictures making jesus look like the devil haha
Except for the WT study, I still do.
We were a mixed family (Dad was the UBM). So for a while we had the PO come over to help us pre-study for the bookstudy. We were one of those Wednesday afternoon groups set up especially for those dad-less families. Anyway, one day, he asked us to prepare so we could have our answers ready for when we prepared for the meeting so we could have our answers ready at the meeting. I think he stopped the pre-study not too long after.
But other than that, I never prepared for a meeting in my life. As I think back, what kind of a moron would not be able to find the correct answer while the prior paragraph was being read. There was plenty of time.
Usually prepared for the BS and maybe prepared for the WT study a few times a year.
