well, whatever reason you want to give for this enormous rally weve had is fine with me, either way it was predictable with stocks being so oversold, wouldnt you agree? (oh thats right, you thought the oversold levels were "imaginary"). did you at least buy some stock yk, in anticipation of all this "panic buying"? i mean, a guy like yourself, with all your infinite knowledge of the financial system shouldve at least been able to play this "panic" rally and make a few bucks in the interim. maybe you couldve payed off your debt to the board with your profits.

I doubt it. Typically you get panic buying immediately following huge dips. That's when the Plunge Protection Team usually steps in to goose the markets back up. Investors still have access to several trillion dollars of money market funds that they are apparently willing to toss on the roulette table. I said a ahile back on this thread that I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were able to pump the DOW back up to about where it was originally. But, we'll see how well it holds up going forward with the earning confessions coming out over the next couple of weeks. That's of course discounting any sort of terrorists shenanigans. One thing for sure: It is exciting to watch. I have never seen a train wreck before. / You Know
