Just call them and tell them until you give them further notice, you would like to be taken off of the theocratic ministry school.
That's what I did. I just told them it was due to health problems - and it was. It kept them off my ass, and it eliminated the stress of having to cancel all the time. I'm sure it made it easier on the school overseer™ too.

I did the same thing, and I was still living at home. My dad was an elder, too! I really was in poor health from stress and one day, I thought, "I cam't take this sh*t any more, of having to give those stupid skits too!' So one night, I just went up to the school overseer and told him until I was feeling better, to please not assign me any more talks.
Of course, he agreed but promptly told my dad. My dad asked me if I'd just asked Brother Dimballs to have my name removed from the school assignment roster, and I said, yes, I wasn't giving any more talks till I felt better. My dad heard the determination in my voice, and left me alone. I never did go back to it! (Due to my health and nerves, haha!)
Thanks for all of the great ideas guys. Only a few more hours and i have to give this thing. I think i have a good idea of what to do.
I always thought the dramatic story of Johnathan's rebellion against his father's harsh decrees to be very interesting. The people spoke out and prevented Johnathan's father from administering the punishment.

My husband and I too wanted to be taken off the schedule. We went up to the school overseer and stated we wanted to be taken off due to personal things going on and no ?'s were asked.
