Buttlight have you considered you might just be the victim of a couple of unhappy kids
Yes, thats a good point. But I would think he would come up with something other than crying his eys out at 3 am scared to death. And considering the next night he wanted to sleep in my room where my bf was (i hadnt gone to bed yet), I highly doubt it.

Why are you and your son so afraid? If this is a supernatural being, has it ever done anything to physically harm you or your family? If you really believe that it's a ghost, why not talk to it the next time you sense its presence? Perhaps ask it what it wants. Who knows - maybe it's just hot and likes to play with toys...

Hello ?
Because it's not normal for this to happen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's just it. It's perfectly normal for this to happen. It happens all the time to children all over the world. What's not normal is for adults to go along with it. It's the job of a parent to reassure the child that it was just a bad dream, not to perpetuate the fear by acting as if what the child saw was real. Of course, if you fill a child's head with nonsense about ghosts and goblins, some of it is going to seep into their unconscious. Children are impressionable and believe what their parents tell them.

I didn't know that. Gee

That's true
Children are impressionable and believe what their parents tell them.
So, what do you suggest? That they stop watching scary movies, stop playing video games that could frighten their subconscience? It might help, but I'm not sure it would stop the little toys from operating by themsleves with no batteries.
I had nightmares when I was young, and if I remember well, it wasn't real. But this doesn't mean that one size fits all.

Agree, and for a great many people, if you fill their head with talk about the place they are camping being an Indian Burial ground, they are going to see Indians. It doesn't take LSD, and it may not even take Alcohol. Hell, even this unrelenting skeptic feels an icy rush if I go into the dark basement of a 120 year old Victorian home. Doesn't mean I've made contact with something supernatural or even just something external of my own mind.

And who is that?
Too much or drugs will cause people to do think and say strange things! LOL: Which one is it?
Seriously speaking, there will be a great increase of the strange and paranormal, unexplainable events as the need arises.
It is a safe bet to say that "you have not seen anything yet!"
Enjoy!
