When I was young I had my share of frightening experiences, similar to the one described here, and it wasn't a single occurance. It went on for a number of years, several times a week, and I never determined what it was. My parents didn't want to hear about it, so I just lived with it. But it stopped when I was about 14 years old, when we moved to a new house. When I was an adult I went to a doctor on my own, just to make sure I'm ok, and (believe it or not) I don't have any mental illness.
Wow that's pretty interesting. In this way, yeah, you were able to say you are ok.
I'm not against making sure people are ok. I do think that there some people have a tendency to completely discredit what another person has experienced, because if it is not explainable by a means that they accept, than therefore it is impossible. And in the process, as some are attempting to do here...
Making fun or making light of such experiences before ever finding out what a doctor has to say about the matter.
All of this being said:
what tetra said was pretty funny. Some of us in this world can't get rid of 'activity' while others are trying to find it. lol
