There was a special talk, of course, in which the overseer told the congregation that 'the time is at hand' , that 'preaching has stop already in over 20 countries' and that 'the great tribulation has started'.
Luke 21:8 (World English Bible) He said, "Watch out that you don't get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying,' I am he,' and,'The time is at hand.' Therefore don't follow them .

When I made my decision to leave the organization, I said to my family that I would rather spend my last few years in the system and I still stand by that comment. Although, I know without a doubt that the JW's are totally wrong about Armaggedon, etc. Bottom line is I have made my peace with my decisions and I, like Danny, have no fear, whatever may come. Terri

lol i just don't wanna be part of that lie and even if they were right, my conscience wouldn't be able to put God in with them. They are satans org but what i do see is an opportunity here IF this becomes policy

The news of Armageddon is going to take some time to reach all the congregations. I don't even think most dubs know that Schroeder is dead yet, let alone who he is. News travels slow in JWland.

Oh we all know how they twist words, what they really mean by "the preaching has stopped" is that people have stopped listening, baptism of newbies has dropped to a trickle in 20 countries. You cant preach if no ones listening.
